A Little Cake (Le Petit Gateau)

We got our cake from A Little Cake, and it was everything I dreamed it would be! It looked great and tasted great! It was perfect!

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but incredibly delicious! We were able to customize our colors and have different types of cake within the tiers. The entire process was fun and easy and we were incredibly impressed with the way our cake turned out- we actually can't wait for our one year anniversary when we can eat the rest!

My wedding cake was absolutely amazing, the perfection on the cake was more than I have expected from the detailed decor to taste. Everyone enjoyed my 3 flavored cakes, especially red velvet, so delicous! Thanks to Le petit gateau !

Leo did an amazing job with our wedding cake. I am very particular with what I want and Leo seemed to nail it! Our cake looked beautiful, taste delicious and the price was amazing! Our 7 tier cake made heads turn! Leo also made a special cake for my husband for our Rehearsal night...that too was amazing. It was a 3 tier yankee themed cake with a baseball top that was cut like a ring box to hold a special gift from me to my husband! My husband and I look forward to using Le Petit Gateau many more times in the future for special events. Thank you so much Leo to you and your staff!!!

First of all - the tastings of all the cake options were awesome - there was not one flavor that wasn't delicious. Our wedding cake looked even more beautiful in person than it did in the pictures and it was so tasty. We received many compliments from our guests on how elegant and good the cake was.

I celebrated my daughter's Sweet Fifteen "Quinceanera" and A Little Cake was the highlight of the night. The gorgeous 3 tier pink and black cake with its romantic lace design was simply amazing and perfect for her party theme! The entire experience was delightful for our daughter and I. She was encouraged to choose a different flavor for each tier of cake and browse through hundreds of beautiful designs to make sure she chose the perfect cake. My daugheter is already saying that when she gets married, her cake must be from A Little Cake. I appreciate the excellent customer service skills and the care they showed to make my daugher's Sweet Fifteen an unforgettable event. I will continue to use A Little Cake for all my family's future events and I recommend it 100%!

I chose this vendor for my wedding at Nanina's in the Park. Leo was so kind and courteous to work with. He provided samples of the cakes and showed us pictures of their work. After we decided what type of cake we wanted, and what colors... a few weeks before the wedding we needed to make some last minute adjustments... they said not to worry, and made me feel at ease. They had GREAT Service and a DELICIOUS cake too!!! (BTW, You've got to try the Oreo filling... yummy!!!)

BY FAR one of my FAVORITE parts of the wedding! the cake tasting was PHENOMENAL, we got to taste 8 different flavors, we chose a cake they had and added our own flair to it, and it ended up coming out even more beautiful than i could have imagined, and it was DELICIOUS and fresh! our guests were amazed!

Our wedding cake from "A Little Cake" was great! We had vanilla cake with cannoli cream and chocolate ganache filling which was delicious! Leo was great to work with and very accommodating to our requests. All of our guests had great things to say about the cake and we would definitely recommend "A Little Cake" to any of our friends and family.

Besides my wedding being absolutely gorgeous, it it was delicous, the best red velvet cake I have ever had. A little Cake, you are the greatest and thank you for being so wonderful, kind and amazing.

Don't bother going anywhere else! THEY ARE THE BEST! The flavor, the moistness, everything is amazing! We will go back to them every time we have an event.

my cake was georgeous!!!! everything i expected!!! and was absolutely delicious!! we couldnt decide on a flavor so he incorporated all of our favorites into the cake! which came out like a masterpiece! my guests loved it!!!

Le Petite Gateau is a wonderful place to go for a wedding cake. They were very eager to put together exaclty what I had imagined and are very willing to work with any ideas even if they aren't offered in their choices. I would suggest this bakery to any bride.

Our cake came out amazing. We changed what we wanted 2 or 3 times and they were very accommodating and flexible. The only time I had a problem was when I requested a custom flavored cake based off of some cupcakes that my friend had made for me. After speaking with John about what recipes to use, he mentioned he would make a sample so that we could be sure is was correct. Wonderful! So I flew in from out of town to finish up planning everything 2 weeks before our wedding. First on my list was to go up and meet with John per our phone call to meet the first day I was in town around 1pm. When I got there, they had no appointment for me, and thus no sample for me to try. I was only going to be up there a few days... John offered to make the sample for me the following day, he was really trying to be accommodating, but being I was from out of state and still had a ton of planning to do. I told him I was unable to come up there again... it was true. I definitely could not make that trip again, however I believe this is why my cake and cupcake favors did come out incorrectly. They were still good, but definitely not anywhere near close to what I had requested. Given this, I would still definitely recommend A Little Cake. They are very nice people, are very accommodating, and make great looking and tasting cakes! The problem was miscommunication and my tight schedule... it happens.

We got married at Seasons in Washington Township, NJ, and Le petit gateau was one of the places that Seasons gets the cake from that's included in the package. We went for our cake tasting and we were so happy (and in a huge food coma afterwards). The cake was delicious and there were so many options. There are many designs to choose from that come with the package offered by Seasons, and Le Petit Gateau was flexible in altering/combining designs. Overall, we were thrilled with our cake and can't wait to eat the top tier that's in our freezer right now for our anniversary!

I was not 100% satisfied with our wedding cake. First, it didn't exactly look like the picture that I provided. I was very surprised to see that it looked very different from what I expected it to look like. Second, the cake was crooked. We have a 5-tier cake and from the pictures that I've seen, it wasn't straight. I'm a little disappointed that they didn't pay attention to detail when making the cake. But looks aside, the cake did taste very good. I just wished it looked and presented the way I pictured it to look like.
