Allie at Arlene's made the overwhelming idea of picking a dress - FUN! She pulled beautiful options and made this, no fuss bride, want to dress up. She even went as far getting a next year dress into the store for me to try on! Her patience, expertise on what looks good, and overall kindness - makes your experience memorable!

I found this salon due to the fact that they had a few drop waist dresses that I wanted to try on. I am so happy I found this salon, they were warm, welcoming, and honest! I had a regular strapless bra on during my last fitting and i felt like my top was gonna fall off. Luckly they had the cure and I got through my wedding day nice and secure! This is a great salon and very spacious. Def. give them a try, lots and lots of bridal dresses.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a bridal salon. For my first fitting, my dress zipped up and buttoned but it was just a little snug. They were going to take it out 1/4 of an inch. I went back 2 weeks later to try it on and we couldn't even zip it up let alone button the top. Now they tell me they have to add fabric on the side. So not only did I pay $55 for alterations but now I had to pay an extra $40. I go back 3 days before the wedding and the dress is too big on me. Unreal. I can't win. I had to keep it like that because the wedding was in 3 days. So I used safety pins and double-sided tape. Now for the good part. The third and final time I went to try on my dress I go there, and I'm waiting behind a group of 5 or 6 girls, assuming a bridal party, and a few other customers that were looking around. I'm not sure of her name, but one of the employees with glasses and a blonde bob turns to one of the girls and goes, "Dawn, I just have to tell you, you are the first Dawn that we have ever like that has come here. We can't stand Dawn's. Any Dawn we have ever met is rude and annoying and we just don't like any of them." Then the owner proceeds to stick her head out of the back room and agree with her! So this girl is going on and on and on for a good 5 or 6 minutes about how much they hate Dawn's. So I'm in my boyfriends sister wedding in 3 days, and she is getting her dress from this place also, and her mother, the mother of the bride, my future mother in law, her name is Dawn. So I'm assuming they don't like her because they hate all Dawn's. So I say something about the situation that has gone on, and they assure me they weren't talking about her, they were talking about a bride that is being crazy. Turns out, I know the bride they were talking about. And wouldn't you know, HER dress and 2 bridesmaids dresses got screwed up on the alterations. I was extremely turned off by the unprofessionalism of the employee AND the owner. That is so bad for business and it's a very small world, you never know who's around. I 100% DO NOT recommend this place. There are plenty of other places around who I'm sure wont talk about you to their other customers.

Arlene's Bridal was amazing to work with. I worked with Debbie and Allie the most and they were kind, professional, and extremely knowledgable. I was shopping for a gown for a civil union ceremony and had no idea what I wanted, but Allie was patient and pulled a variety of things for me to try. She pulled a dress I never would have chosen for myself, but it was perfect! I appreciate their straightforward information and caring style. The alternations to my gown were perfect and they were able to help me find the perfect head piece. They made me...the ultimate non-bride...engage and even get excited about the "bridal process". I cannot thank Arlene's bridal enough. They were amazing and I will recommend them to all my friends.

I love Arlene's Bridal!! I walked into Arlene's knowing I wanted a "vintage looking dress" and already had two in mind I had seen on the internet. I went there with my sister and my mom and was quickly greeted by Debbie. She was super friendly and super helpful! She pulled both dresses for me and answered every question I had about each dress. I had no plans on making any purchases that day, afterall it was the very first time I had even tried on a wedding gown. After trying on both gowns several times I decided on getting both! Debbie really tried to get me to pick the ONE but my mind was made up...Both it was! I even bought my wedding veil that day! One word: PERFECTION! After speaking to both Jaime and Debbie about some changes I wanted to make to one of my gowns, Jaime informed me that she would sketch a picture of my gown before any alterations were made so that I would know exactly what I would be getting before I even made the purchase! I was AMAZED! Wow, she actually sketched a picture of my dress, which I still have by the way and will save forever! Thank you Jaime! All in all the service was amazing! The alterations were done perfectly and I had not one, but two dresses that were everything I had imagined! Everyone complimented me all day and all night on both dresses. I looked amazing thanks to Arlene's Bridal and staff! Thanks to Debbie, Jaime and Meghan!! You made everything so easy for me and helped make my wedding day a dream come true!! Melissa

I had such a wonderful experience with Arlenes Bridal!! Everyone who works there was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I went to Arlenes in November with my mom, shortly after I got engaged. I had already been to a few different salons in the area and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I had an idea in my head but nobody seemed to get the picture and pulled dresses for me that were just not right. I finally arrived at Arlenes and met with Jamie. She was so nice and asked me what my vision was. We went downstairs and I pulled a few dresses that I thought I would like and she then pulled one that I wasn’t too sure of but she said it was exactly what I had described to her. I tried the dresses on that I pulled and nothing was right so she urged me to try on the dress that she had pulled, the dress that I had described to her, and it was the most beautiful dress!! It was exactly what I was looking for! Jamie knew more about the dress that I wanted then I did! When I saw the tears in my mothers eyes, I knew we had found the dress! We purchased the dress on the spot! I went back to Arlenes with my bridesmaids a few months later and we had such great service from Debbie and Megan. We ended up getting 8 bridesmaid dresses and the flower girl dress. All the girls at Arlenes helped me choose the colors, Debbie was really fantastic at helping me get a vision of the dress in the colors I wanted. The dresses were absolutely beautiful. They all came in on time and they were perfect. My mother lives in Canada and purchased her dress at another store (RK Bridal in NYC). When her dress arrived it was way too big but the store where she purchased it wouldn’t help at all. I called Debbie at Arlenes and she said that they would either fix my mom’s dress or find her a new one. She called me back in Canada to let me know what the options were on getting my mom a new dress (we were only about a month away from the wedding) and I also set up an appt with the seamstress at Arlenes to take a look at her dress. The seamstress said that she could fix the dress and she did a fantastic job. The dress fit my mom perfectly! One of the best experiences that I had with Arlenes is the day I went in to the trunk show to pick out my veil and headpiece. All of my family and my bridal party lived in Canada so I went to the trunk show alone. But Debbie, Megan, Allee and Jewel put me in my gown and put every veil and head piece on me until we found the right one. I felt like I was there with my friends, it was wonderful. My dress fit me perfectly, the veil and headpiece were perfect and I was so comfortable on my wedding day. It’s a real family atmosphere at Arlenes and I was sad the day I picked up my gown because I had so much fun going into Arlenes and seeing everyone. I would definitely recommend Arlenes!! Debbie and the team were great. I went there not wanting to dress shop and I found my perfect dress in about an hour. I loved working with her and her team. Thanks so much for making the process as simple as possible. it was great!

I went in on a whim with my sisters to look at dresses because it was going to be the last time I saw them until my wedding and got really discouraged because they were all WAY more than I had to spend. However, the saleswoman that was helping me encouraged me to pick a few and just try them on anyways. I loved three of them, but they were all about $1000 more than I could spend, she asked the owner what she could do and she gave me a floor model for less than 75% of the price. I loved my experience there, I would not have found a better dress for anything close to the price she gave me!

Arlene's provided me with excellent service up until I paid for the dress. I feel that once you pay for the dress the time and attention with you as a customer diminishes. You must speak up with what you want and save all receipts/read everything! Also, make sure you schedule appointments with someone your comfortable with as some people were easier or better to work with than others.

I love Arlene's bridal! They did my bridal party and my wedding dress. Great services. There was a stain on one of my bridemaids dress and they made sure that it was fixed right away. They did my sister's wedding six years ago and now they did my wedding best experience ever highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Arlene's Bridal. They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. Chosing a bridal gown is extremely important and can be a hard decision, but when I explained to Meghan at the salon what i was looking for she picked the most beautiful gowns that I LOVED them all. Ultimately, we found the right one and I loved it the day i tried it on and loved it even more the day of the wedding. During the fittings they asked me what I wanted to ensure that I felt comfortable in the gown the day of the wedding. Any little changes I wanted done they did with no problem. I even ordered my flower girl dress from them since I was so pleased with how helpful they were. My girlfriend is getting married and I recommended she go there and she too bought her dress there. I am happy to say I am in her wedding and I get to visit Arlenes again since she ordered the bridesmaid dresses from there as well. You will not be disappointed with Arlenes. Their service, gowns, accessories, and staff are the BEST!

I intended to buy my dress here last fall, but after a few experiences of negative treatment from the owner of this shop, I decided to buy elsewhere. The younger girls working in the shop were kind and helpful, however the qualities represented by the woman running the place were not where I want to be throwing my money. I prefer to support honest, professional, supportive and kind businesses people. On a positive note, it is nice that this shop has a smaller selection of dresses, so it isn't as overwhelming as some of the larger dress shops to look. They also seem to have a lot of great bridesmaid dresses, although not the cheapest bmaid dress prices. The gown prices were decent.

Several months back, i went dress shopping with my mom at Arlene's Bridal. I read reviews from a wedding board (theknot.com) and a lot of the ladies had great things to say about this place. So i set an appointment and off we went. When we got there, we weren't greeted immediately. After about 8-10 minutes we were attended to. Jewel (i think thats her name) asked a few questions about the dress i was looking for. She wasnt the friendliest person, just looked like she wanted to get it over with. So we went downstairs. She didnt say much and i didnt get the excitement i was looking for. Now dont get me wrong i wasnt expecting her to be over the moon, but just a little bit of shared excitement is all i was looking for. Anyways, i had my mom there so thats all that mattered. They have great selections and my mom loved all the dresses i tried. Finally we picked the dress my mom and i both loved. Skip to a few months after and i went in for my first fitting. Same issue we had to wait abt 15 minutes before someone even came to help. We go downstairs and once again Jewel is the lady helping me. Same thing. No hello, (just a half hearted smile), no how've you been, just "lets go into the room." I'm only impressed with their selection, but their customer service is extremelly poor (not just jewel), the owner as well.

Arlene's has been wonderful to myself, my mom and my bridal party. They helped so perfectly with everything. We had so much fun getting the dresses for my bridal party and even though my mom already had a dress, the owner suggested she try on this gorgeous dress and it looked amazing on her so she got her dress there too. We are also getting all the shoes from them as well. They've been so helpful and nice through the whole process. I am so pleased with this shop and I recommend it to anyone who is looking to have an easy, fun time dress shopping for everyone in their wedding!

I absolutely LOVE Arlene's Bridal. I have never had such a great and personal service. All the girls are absolutely wonderful and sweet. Jamie and Debbie (the owners) are so helpful and very hands on. They did not give up until I found my dream dress. I went to lots of bigger bridal shops and high end shops and the service there could never match the great service and attention that I received at Arlene's. Most people think that because it's a smaller and local place that they won't find what they need or want there, but it's the complete opposite. They have a large selection of different styles and sizes. They are also very great when it comes to alterations and customizing a style. They also offer a selection of beautiful head pieces and veils, hair combs, jewelry. I got everything from them, dress, hair jewelry, veil, my balerina slippers, corset bra, and even my bridesmaids dresses. My husband and groomsmen also rented their suits from Starlite Tuxedos which is also owned by the same owners. Those guys are also great and friendly and willing to work with your personal style as well. I don't understand why there are even any negative comments here for them. It doesn't sound like anything I have ever experienced here. I was at Arlene's throughout the whole year of planning for my wedding and I never once had a negative experience. I love them so much that I honestly wish I could work there. Best of luck to you brides and you won't be disappointed with Arlene's Bridal.

They were great until we paid for the dress- after the dress was paid for.. we got NO SERVICE... I asked for something to be fixed before I picked up my dress and when i did it was not done and at that time it was to late..

This place was great - at first. I found my dress and the staff was very helpful. I unfortunately had to let one of my bridesmaids go during the planning of the wedding and the bridal salon decided that I needed to pay for the dress a week before my wedding! The contract clearly states that a dress may be forfeited and all monies would kept. We payed a deposit and we accepted losing that, but they wanted the balance. The boss got very rude and childish with me over the phone. Threatening to take back discounts that were applied WAY before any of this went down. The boss then started to throw out that their contracts have changed, but that I had signed an old contract. This place has a great selection of dresses at a reasonable price, but I would steer clear because the boss is not nice and if you upset her just the tiniest bit she will turn on you. I suggest to go somewhere else.

I purchased my dress at Arlene's and I couldn't be happier. The staff was helpful and attentive and took a personal interest in making my wedding dress the best it could possibly be!

I went with Arlenes since they had the dress I was looking for in the right size. The sample I originally tried on in the city was too large & their sample happened to be my size. I knew this was the dress for me once I saw it on in the right size. They will work with your budget. Alterations went well. I also ordered my veil & hair piece here. Nice selection of hair combs & and accessories. Saturdays are hectic try to make appts.during the week.

I absolutely love Arlene's bridals! The staff are so helpful in every way. Before my wedding, I was in there probably way more than I should have been to color match and stuff. Every time I came in, they were happy to help. They did wonderful alterations on my dress and all of the other dresses! We got everything from them!!! It all turned out beautiful!! I speak so highly of this bridal salon!! They really calmed my nerves through a process that can be very stressful and at the end of the wedding process... I felt like I made life long friends!!
