Alyssa was recommended to me by a family member and I could not be happier with the service she provided for my October 7 wedding! Alyssa perfected the look I had envisioned for my wedding day and my makeup lasted throughout the evening; she also provided makeup for my mother, grandmother, and bridesmaids and everyone looked fabulous! Alssya was the first makeup artist that I contacted for my wedding. She was down to earth and It was a pleasure working with her. She did a fantastic job on my makeup, my mothers and one of my bridesmaids. I felt absolutely STUNNING on my wedding day!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

I can't say enough about Alyssa and Nathalie at Blush! By the time I booked them for my wedding day I had no worries about the quality of their services and creative abilities~needless to say, all the ladies looked gorgeous!! What was just as impressive was the way they seemlessly blended into our bridal festivities. Alyssa and Nathalie were total professionals, yet felt just like friends calming my day of jitters. Alyssa totally rolled with the punches and accommodated my sister's last minute request to have her makeup done and even sewed up my best friend's ripped dress after everyone had left!!! The morning before getting married is so crazy and hectic. I was worried about everything EXCEPT how everyone's hair and makeup would turn out. Their work was top notch!! My day would not have been complete without Alyssa there. From the first time I met her, I felt more like a friend than a client. She's personable, professional, friendly, kind, caring, and an amazing makeup artist! Worth every penny!!!Alyssa and Paula were amazing on my wedding day, and even before that.I went for a hair and makeup trial, I was totally blown away. I've never felt beautiful, and they managed to make me feel gorgeous.We then had my mom and sister do hair and makeup trials. They were blown away too.My wedding day, like most brides, was a little crazy. For us, the photographer was two hours early and was messing with my dress, pressuring me to take pictures when I wasn't ready, and was pestering me on when the flowers would arrive, when the groom would be ready to be photographed, when we'd be leaving. But Alyssa and Paula were calm, cool and collected. They actually stopped me from freaking out on the photographer. They kept me smiling and laughing.I cannot thank them enough for helping me on my day! I have to think of other reasons for me to use their services!!!

ALYSSA and her team are truly amazing. They did the hair and makeup for myself as well as my bride (yes a lesbian wedding)! They made us for like princesses. Immediately when we met Alyssa at a bridal show we knew she would be the one we would book with. She was very personable, friendly, but most importantly EXPERIENCED.Our hair and makeup trails went smooth and we were very very happy with how we looked, so much so that we even had them do our makeup for our bachlorette party. Our wedding hair and makeup was FLAWLESS and remained that way the entire day. ALYSSA AND HER ENTIRE TEAM AT BLUSH DID AN AMAZING JOB AND TRULY PUT THAT EXTRA SPECIAL TOUCH ON OUR SPECIAL DAY!!! Alyssa and her team are the best! I discovered them at a Bridal Show and was hooked from the start!! They are so professional and amazing! Their salon is very inviting and they all make you feel at home!! Alyssa and her team came to where i was getting ready wedding day and myself, mom, and 7 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl got hair/makeup. Everyone looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! I did not feel like I was wearing pounds of makeup, my hair AND makeup looked perfect all day, even through the hottest day in May... I would HIGHLY recommend BLUSH to everyone... I can't wait to have a reason to call them for services again :)

Alyssa and Petula were nothing less than amazing. ANY bride, whether in NJ, NY, CT - even further, should get the opportunity to work with this team on their wedding day. Alyssa is a sweetheart, and a master at her craft, as is Petula with hair. The girls were completely professional, listened to me, and suggested just the right options to truly make me feel like a princess on my wedding day. I felt nothing less than gorgeous, and the photos prove it. Added bonus is that they are extremely reasonable with the price. I work in TV and have watched many makeup artists work, and these girls surpass any work I have seen. If you are in NYC, don't get ripped off by some uppity salon stylist that charges thousands. These girls are way more talented. Trust me - I am very picky!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I got married a week ago today and it was a truly amazing day. I can't thank Alyssa and Petula enough for making the bridal party, the mothers of the bride & groom, and myself look absolutely stunning! Throughout the night everyone was asking what salon we had used, and even the venue had asked for a business card because they were so impressed by their work. When getting married down the shore you expect a nice bright sunny day. Well, that is not exactly what happened, as it rained all day. It didn't matter though because we have amazing pictures and my hair and makeup stayed PERFECT! Alyssa was right there by my side waiting to touch up any imperfection throughout the pictures and even after the ceremony (which I highly recommend)I LOVED working with the girls at Blush, and their work speaks for itself. I'm looking forward to the next time I need to get my hair and makeup done because there is no need to look anywhere else. Not only are the girls extremely talented, but they are so sweet and they were able to make everyone in my bridal party happy and even more beautiful on our special day.We love Blush salon!

Alyssa and her staff at Blush are FABULOUS!! I looked amazing on my wedding day, and so did every woman in my bridal party! Alyssa even made sure I looked beautiful post-ceremony (before my reception)!Everyone at Blush is so incredibly nice and wonderful and, they are all extremely talented! Alyssa was such an amazing woman to work with. From my initial meeting with her at a bridal showcase, to my trial (which was an important day because it was the date of my engagement photo shoot - so there was no room for error!!), to my wedding day - she was nothing but professional and supportive. She listened to my wants and needs and made me look and feel stunning. She came out early in the morning to make sure she was able to fit myself and all my bridesmaids in on time. She made everyone comfortable and beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better artist! I highly recommend her!!!

Every Bride MUST use BLUSH Makeup studio. You are foolish if you don't! Alyssa and Carrie were AMAZING!!!! Alyssa arrived right on time and was able to accommodate my large wedding party. She is very meticulous in her work and it definitely showed on my wedding day. I felt absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!The trial went so smoothly and she gave me the exact look. She is a very caring and passionate individual who puts 150%.... and more into her work. My bridesmaids and mom looked breathtaking as well. I'm not sure where to begin. I was referred by a friend to check out Blush Makeup Studio for my upcoming wedding. I contacted Alyssa for the first time via facebook and she got back to me right away. We set up an appointment for a trial and even after I cancelled my initial appointment, she was more than flexiable in order to accommodate me. Once I met Alyssa, I felt like I met a new friend. She was incredibly friendly but professional at the same time. The trial went perfect and I booked Alyssa immediately! On the day of my wedding Alyssa went above and beyond to make me look and feel beautiful. I cannot thank her enough for transforming me into the most beautiful bride I could be. I highly recommend Alyssa and Blush Makeup Studio.

We used BLUSH for hair - they came to my house and everyone looked GORGEOUS!! Petula did mine and she was awesome..and fast! We also had Paula and Enza and they were awesome too. Would book them again for any wedding. Prices were great!

Alyssa was absolutely wonderful on the day of my wedding! My makeup and my bridesmaids makeup all looked fantastic! Not only is she talented, but she is so sweet and has a great personality! Ayssa was absolutely the best vendor I had! She was so sweet and personal at my trial I knew I was in good hands and would not have to worry the day of the wedding. When I went for my trial she spent so much time going over every last detail to assure me that nothing would be overlooked or forgotten. I went there thinking I wanted to get airbrushed, but Alyssa assured me there was no reason and that my makeup would last all day long. Not only was she right but it looked amazing and flawless!The day of the wedding Alyassa was on time and ready to go. She did 8 of my bridesmaids plus my mom and I. The girls looked stunning, not on of them looked over done at all. The whole time Alyssa talked to each girl and was smiling and made everyone who was there fall in love with her! I have never had makeup last as long as it did that day and it NEVER looked out of place, not even once. I thought I might have needed to touch up here and there because it was such a long day , but I never had to. I got to see some of my family and friends pictures from the wedding and I am in love with them, especially my eyes, they really pop in the photos!! I can not thank her enough, she was simply the best! She always smiled and her work speaks for itself. There isn't a question in my mind I would use her again in a heart beat!! Thanks to her the morning of my wedding day was so easy and fun! I would trust no one else Alyssa is the best there is!!

Every bride in the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut area should ABSOLUTELY use Alyssa and BLUSH for their wedding day hair and makeup. Not only were my trials outstanding but they accommodated my ever-changing ideas for hairstyles, and the final product the day of the wedding was amazing. I never imagined that I could have looked the way I did on my wedding day, and it was thanks to the makeup and hair style skills of Alyssa and the girls of BLUSH. I called several makeup and hair stylists, and had a few trials, no other place could compare to BLUSH. Alyssa was by far the best and her prices are comparable to those in the industry. She is more than willing to accommodate every bride’s crazy demands (and we all have them ). When I went for my makeup trial I was sure that I wanted to get airbrushed, but Alyssa assured me that I did not need to get airbrushed. I thought that the only way to make sure my makeup stayed on all night was to get airbrushed, but I was wrong. That might be true for other inexperienced makeup artists, but not with Alyssa. When I was done with the trial using regular makeup, I absolutely loved the way it looked, but still wasn’t sure if it would wear off within a few hours. I purposely went out that night, and when I went to bed I was sure to sleep like normal with my face rubbing on my pillow. Despite all that when I woke up the next morning my makeup looked exactly like it did the minute Alyssa had finished. I was hooked.The day of the wedding Alyssa was at my house bright and early ready to go. She was phenomenal! My mother, who has gotten her makeup done many times and who often comes home to alter the makeup, loved the way she looked and looked amazing all day. My bridal party was very happy and also loved their makeup. But, most importantly my makeup was stunning. I was constantly being told all night that my makeup and hair looked great. I can say I truly felt like a beautiful bride and that was in large part due to Alyssa’s work. She worked tediously to make sure I loved every little detail of my makeup. She also met me at the church to touch up my makeup before and after the ceremony. She was professional and friendly throughout the entire process.I absolutely LOVE my wedding pictures, and I attribute a lot of it to Alyssa. If you are getting married and are looking for a makeup artist and hair person, you would be foolish to look anywhere else. Check out the pictures of her work, as they speak for themselves. Do yourself a favor and at least book a trial with BLUSH you won’t regret it.

Alyssa at BLUSH studio was amazing! I got married on. Hot and humid July day and my makeup stayed pristine till the wee hours of the night. Alyssa made me look and most importantly FEEL amazing! I LOVED working with Alyssa for my wedding... She was all around fantastic! I had met her at a friends wedding the previous fall and booked her immediately. Not only does she make you feel absolutely beautiful, she was so much fun to be around! My favorite quote of my wedding day came from one of my bridesmaids when we were all done getting ready. She said: "wow! I've never been in a wedding where there weren't bridesmaids running in the bathroom trying to fix their make-up after it was done"... and I found it so true- I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids and my mom and EVERYONE was sooooooo pleases with the way they looked. I would book her again in a second!
