Chocolate Carousel

Chocolate Carousel was the bakery of choice that our venue used for wedding cakes and we can now see why! Our cake was beautiful and EXACTLY what we asked for and designed. We had three different flavor combinations for the three tiers and each one was DELICIOUS. Thank you so much Lisa and everyone at Chocolate Carousel.

The cake was amazing! It was so delicious, we loved it and got tons of praise for how amazing it was! The venue had served our top teir on the wedding night but Chocolate Carousel came through and made us an exact replica of the top tier a few days later! Thank you very much!

Our cake was fabulous!!! I spoke with the cake decorator on the phone and gave her some logistics and we talked about my wedding colors and style. I emailed her a few pics of cakes I liked and she said she had an idea of what I was looking for. I didn't go in person bc I live 2 hours from the bakery so I trusted their experience. The cake was part of my reception venue package so I didn't rate based on value. The day of my wedding I saw my cake and it was perfect!! Light pink, irredescant icing with gold scrolls on a 3 tier round cake. Perfection!! My cake topper matched great. And the flavor was to die for. We went with a yellow cake, chocolate mousse filling and whipped cream icing. We loved loved loved it! I can't wait to eat the top tier on our first anniversary!

Chocolate Carousel was included in the wedding package we booked, which made it easy because we didn't have to shop around. We made an appointment to meet and discuss our cake and we were very impressed with the shop. They let us taste any combination of cake, filling, frosting that we wanted until we found the right one. I'm not a huge cake fan, but the cake there was so good that even I enjoyed it. We went with a very simple cake, ivory with ivory swirls and ribbon around the bottom of each tier. I dropped the ribbon off a few weeks before and had the cake topper at the reception location. The cake arrived with no issues, tasted fabulous and looked amazing. Would definitely do business with the Chocolate Carousel again.

Our wedding cake was beautiful as well as delicious. I was amazed at how perfect the cake was, it exceded all of our expectations. They were actually the default bakery through the Ramada Inn of Toms River, but we loved them! Cake tasting was great. They helped us design the perfect cake for us, and it tasted amazing! We received so many complements on the taste as well as how it looked. We plan to order our next party cake from them as it was some of the best cake around!

Our cake was so beautiful and delicious. We walked into the bakery already knowing what we wanted based on reviewing their website. We were fortunate to have the owner sit us don that moment to go over cakes. Once we tasted the samples we fell in love. The cake was so beautiful and decorated with live purple flowers. Our cake was one of the highlights of the wedding. What is most exciting as that on our one year anniversary they will bake us a top tier again so we can enjoy our cake. First of all, the cake is delicious! And they make it look fantastic. When you meet with them, they let you sample all different kinds of cakes and fillings (yum). Then you get to look at images of cakes they have made in the past and then they work with you to come up with your own custom design. Caity and everyone else there made our cake absolutely perfect! I can't wait to cut in to our top layer on our first anniversary.

We were provided with this vendor by booking our venue and we couldn't have been more thrilled. The cake was so beautiful and more importantly tasted great! The owner was very helpful when choosing flavors and designs and the process was so simple.

Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous. Our Fall leaf theme and cake topper were matched perfectly. We got so many compliments on how delicious the cake was also.

Our cake was included with our package from Falco's Catering. We nearly chose to get our own cake until I'd heard all the great word of mouth. We arranged for a tasting and had a tough time making up our minds! Everything we tasted was amazing and there were so many choices. In the end, my cake looked awesome thanks to Caitelyn and her decorating talent! We also placed an order for our rock n roll themed wedding..a Ramones logo groom's cake which was chocolate cake with a raspberry cream filling! Amazing. 3 weeks later, people are still mentioning how good the cake was! Thanks!!

Lisa and her staff provided the cake for our wedding as well as a groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner. Both exceeded our expectations. For the groom's cake, Lisa listened to my ideas and was able to create a cake that worked with my vision and my budget. I got a ton of compliments, and my groom thought it was great. Plus, it was delicious! We didn't have our choice of vendors for the wedding cake, as the basic cake was included in our venue package. We couldn't have asked for better service (or better tasting cake!). When we met with Lisa over the summer, I had high hopes of getting a pumpkin flavored cake. She listened to my ideas and then offered some suggestions. The compropmise we came up with was perfect. Because we chose a fall flavor, I had to come back for a second tasting in the fall, and Lisa treated us (and my inlaws) as if it were our first visit. You will not be unhappy with the taste and flavors they have to offer. For the design of the cake - it was amazing. We brought in a ton of pictures, looked through all of Lisa's books, and then created a design that met all of our criteria. The cake was beautiful! It was exactly what we hoped for and fit our color scheme perfectly. I foresee many trips to the Chocolate Carousel in our future!

I might be bias but it was the best wedding cake I have ever had. At least 20 people come up to us to brag about how great the cake was. It was delicious and looked amazing. They did everything we asked for and it turned out amazing. This has been our "go to" bakery for years, since we were teenagers! Great flavors, friendly staff, and great presentation! Highly recommend!
