I'd like to start off by saying that I am a wedding professional; meaning I have been a wedding planner in the state of NJ going on the past 5yrs. I have worked with NUMEROUS transportation companies over the years.
Hiring the transportation company for our wedding day was on my husband's to do list. I advised him to ensure it was a reputable company so that we wouldn't have any issues on our wedding day. He hired DJ's, and I was happy b/c I had heard great things about them and I passed them almost everyday.
On the day of my wedding it was 115 degrees outside. I had a bridal party of 9, plus a flower girl, plus me THE BRIDE. From my parents house to our wedding venue it was a 30minute drive, but on a Friday on the GSP it was about 45min.
The 1st limo bus they sent, they took it back b/c the AC wasn't working, so they sent over another one...same problem.
The limo bus was sweltering hot from the moment my bm's entered. At first we thought the AC would kick in, it did...all of about 3-5minutes MAX. By the time I entered the limo it was blazing heat in there. We asked the driver {who was nice by the way} if he could turn it all the way up and he told us once we started moving it would cool off a lot. Or so he thought.
We drove about 5minutes, not much cooler, 10min, not much cooler, 20 minutes, my flower girl was dripping, my matron of honor almost had a heat stroke, all of my bridesmaids had their dresses hiked up to their knees or higher. As for me, sweat was running down my legs, I could hardly breathe, the flowers were getting wilted and my hair began to lose it's curl. Now to some people reading this, you might not think that is SO major, but everyone's experience is different.
We consistently asked the driver what was going on but he really didn't seem to know much at all, all he said was that "this AC must not be working either"
LIKE REALLY? Why wasn't a call put through to explain the situation. I would have preferred they send 2 limos with AC that actually worked and sacrificed my bridal party riding together then to have a party bus that cost about one thousand dollars and be HOT on my wedding day!
I was SO displeased with their service and lack of care that I just had to write this review. After we returned from our honeymoon, my husband called to complain and speak to a manager/owner and every time he called the manager wasn't there, and would always be told someone would call back. That never happened, this went on for weeks! It felt as if our wedding was over, they collected the money and didn't care on the impact of our day! Alas when he spoke to someone, they told him that the owner was actually the person driving our vehicle that day! That's utter BULL. If the owner was driving that day he would have reacted 10 times differently b/c he knew that under contract we were due to receive a vehicle that had a working A/C and wouldn't want his client to be upset, I got no apology nor any form of compassion from anyone who worked there. Not even a call back to say "we're sorry for the inconvenience but we'd like to give you back 20% of the total cost, or a free limo on your one year anniversary, or drop off and pick up to/from the airport for your honeymoon as a conselation of how sorry we are that you endured this on your wedding day". If I were a bride planning the biggest day of her life, i'd read THIS review and walk away.
If you had a GREAT experience with them, then that's wonderful and I genuinely am happy all worked out for you, but for me...not so much. I hired every vendor that I have a working relationship with EXCEPT dj's and I SO regret not hiring X limo company b/c I know they would have treated me like gold that day and taken care of myself and my bridal party despite the unbearable heat. Running a business takes more than just booking clients, and accepting payments...that doesn't equal success. You need to take care of every client on your roster as if they were your only clients. Like in this situation, you never know who your clients are, who they're connected to or how they could potentially affect your business in a negative way.

It all seemed ok at first. We made the treck to their office and once we got there the girl behind the counter was frendly and brought us out to see the limos. We signed the papers and counted down to our wedding day. When everything got going that day we got picked up on time, got to the church on time, and when we left we all jumped in quickly as it had started to rain. We needed to get to the reception before our contracted time went over. Thats when it all went down hill with JD's. First, on the way to the reception the sun roof started leaking on our bridal party. Then we had to correct the limo driver from taking one route which would have taken longer, next along the way he decided to take the wrong exit which put us over our time by 15 mintues. We had not even gotten through the reception hall doors when the driver told us he still had to charge us a full hour for the 15 minutes. Soon he began to yell and act nasty to anyone who tried to talk with him. Thank god for the maitre'd and our family who both stepped in to deal with him so he would not ruin our day.
In short, we wish we had picked some other limo company.

The staff at DJ's Limos were great. The drivers were very friendly, courteous and had smiles on their faces all day long, which really made it pleasant for us and our family/friends.
The drivers arrived on time, they were dressed professionally and knew our schedule to the very last minute.
The ONLY thing that upset me about them is that when we signed our contract the owner advised us that a keg of beer came standard on our HUGE party bus. She indicated that it was included with our price and so we understood that this service would be available to our bridal party on the day of. However, when our friends got onto the bus, they were advised by the driver that the keg of beer was not listed on the copy of the contract that they had and so it was not included on the bus. There should have been better communication from the business owner who wrote up the contract because that really inconvenienced us to have to stop to purchase alcohol for the ride.
Besides that mishap, I would definitely recommend their services!!!!

DJ's limo was great. They were on time and the drivers were great. Very friendly. They were a huge help at the church with the doors and getting the bridal party ready to walk down the aisle. We had no issues what so ever with them. We will def be using them in the future. We have nothing bad to say about them. Thanks guys!!!!

DJ Limo is great. We were very happy with this limo service. They made promises and delivered. The Lincoln Navigator limo was comfortable and so elegant looking. The limo driver was so friendly, helpful and accomodating. I highly recommend them.

The driver was great and the stretch suv was great. But you would think after booking limos for the bachelor/bachelorette parties and the wedding we would have been offered free transportation to and from the airport.

Excellent service. The Rolls was wonderful and our driver was fantastic. Our bridal party took a party bus which was a lot of fun. the only issue I heard about months later was that the music on the bus was not working. all in all, however, they were a pleasure to work with

DJs Limos were the best! They were so courteous with everything. We had booked a smaller party bus, but something happened the day before our wedding and so they sent us their biggest one to compensate. The staff both in the office and in the bus were so helpful and professional as well as a lot of fun! Would definitely use them again for any other party. They also had the best prices in the whole area.

We had used DJ's for my sisters wedding the prior year and they were amazing so we booked them to do my wedding last summer. We booked the "party bus". It is beautifu. The inside is like a club w/ the lights. Joe was the driver and Erin was there to help w/ the bevrerages and really anything else you could imagine. I felt they both went above the call of duty. When we were getting pictures done they were both right there to help w/ the train or hold my flowers or get me a drink...I highly recommend them. They were great!!!!

I cannot even begin to explain how great this company is. They provided transportation for my wedding, my sister's wedding and my sister in law's wedding and they are exceptional. Their drivers are wonderful and the company goes above and beyond to please their customers. I had booked their speciality tax limo for my transportation and the axle broke on it 2 days before my wedding. They called me and asked me what I would like in its place. I requested a bus. They sent me their biggest bus, plus a 1/2 keg of beer plus an extra attendent to help serve on the bus and who also carried the train of my dress. This company is wonderful!
