Jessie was absolutely terrific! I couldn't have asked for more! I asked Jessie to not wear black (on my wedding day, I didn't want anyone wearing black, and she did just that - she wore a beautiful green and beige dress, and she helped the bridal and grooms party, who told me she was great and so patient with 18 people in total!! Everyone I spoke to loved our ceremony and said that it felt so warm and like everyone was a part of this big moment in our lives! Jessie, you are the best - thank you so much for everything!!

I am so thankful that I found Jessie's info on a wedding blog last year! Jessie was SO easy to work with and such a pleasure to be around! She really is one of those people you want to be bff's with after your wedding is over! I helped my best friend plan her own wedding 3 years ago and she really wanted us to go with her officiant. A wonderful and very sweet woman but she just wasn't right for us. We(myself and my hubby) are not religious. We've both been married before and are quite quirky. We didn't want to be married by someone that just filled in names into a generic ceremony. We didn't want to include religious readings or do an all out performance of the wedding ceremony from "The Princess Bride" either. When I read Jessie's reviews, and looked at her website, I felt like she was the perfect fit for us. The one thing that stuck in my mind were the photos of her performing ceremonies and the pure joy you could feel just by looking at them. THAT was what I wanted for our ceremony. I wanted it to speak about us, to be something that made sense for us, but also wasn't completely off the wall because it still is a really serious thing we were doing by getting married. Jessie met with us and got to know us. It was great! Once we decided to book her she had us both answer questions about each other, our relationship, our families. She even helped me come up with a different way of including our daughters(both from previous marriages) into our ceremony without doing the same ol' sand/unity ceremony. Jessie was an absolutely angel to work with. She was very organized and passionate about our wedding ceremony and I think that is why we felt so comfortable with choosing her. Luckily enough the wedding angels were working in our favor the day I called Jessie to see if she was available to speak at our wedding (3 weeks before the date!) We ran into a slight problem when our friend, who was going to marry us, got called to duty and had to leave right before our wedding and would miss it completely. I searched high and low, website to website for hours upon end, and no one was perfect for us. Until I saw Jessie's bio on her website, I knew she had to be the one! Luckily enough she was available for our rehearsal and for our wedding, so we got to work right away. She was so well organized in the ceremony format and she really knows how to stay traditional but yet be nontraditional, and that's what we were looking for. She had great advice and plenty of knowledge about different types of readings because we weren't really sure what we were aiming for. I know I will be using her in our vow renewals many years from now, because our day would not of been the same if she wasn't there. A+ all around =)

We booked Jessie as our officiant because we were looking for an original, memorable, but short ceremony. At first, I thought I wanted it to be 5 minutes long, no frills, but the more we thought about it, the more we wanted something with oomph, that wasn't memorable only because it was long. Jessie gave us everything we wanted, and more. The entire process was smooth and fun. Jessie's questions / homework were challenging but insightful. And she was so calm and patient as I blew deadline after deadline for getting things to her. On the day of, Jessie was totally professional, on time (early, even!), and gave me the best tip of the night - how to pee on the toilet in my dress. Jessie also was so laid back and rolled with the punches when, contrary to my repeated promises, there was no audio set up for her to use. My fiance and I wanted our wedding ceremony to be on the shorter side. What a shame, because I think Jessie would have done a great job with a longer ceremony. We did not take full advantage of her services!

I was looking to find someone who would make our ceremony unique and found Jessie through Offbeat Bride...Jessie is awesome - super sweet right from the first e-mail response to me, which was within minutes. We wanted something non religious but with a little religion thrown in there somewhere but inconspicuously. We also wanted non-traditional but with some tradition. She had us answer questions and fill out a few forms and took what we wrote and made an amazing and memorable ceremony. Everyone commented how unique a ceremony it was and how warm and personable Jessie seemed. We were thrilled with her and loved working with her. Whatever you want your wedding ceremony to be like, Jessie can do it. I am pretty sure at least one person who was at our wedding will be using Jessie at his upcoming wedding...she's just great.

Like all the reviews we ready about Jessie before hiring her, we had an equally amazing experience with her. She was the ultimate professional from our very first meeting. She was completely organized at every meeting, always met her deadlines, responded to emails within minutes of sending them, and basically guided us every single step of the way. From information on obtaining our license, to helping us create a beautiful and fully unique ceremony, we could not have asked for more. We would whole-heartedly recommend Jessie to everyone.

I would highly recommend Jessie Blum as your ceremony officiant! She is kind, sweet, accommodating, creative, and professional. She was more than happy to work with me since I came in with specific themes I wanted to incorporate into the ceremony script. She also chose some amazing quotes for us to include in the script. She would always respond to my (many) emails within an hour or two--it was top-knotch service from beginning to end! I ended up having the perfect ceremony of my dreams, and I couldn't have done it without her. The ceremony was a huge hit with everyone at the reception--everyone couldn't stop raving about how beautiful and original it was! In short, I would recommend Jessie wholeheartedly for all of your officiating needs, she is absolutely amazing!

ECLECTIC UNIONS BY CELEBRANT JESSIE BLUM WAS THE BEST CHOICE MY HUSBAND AND I MADE FOR OUR WEDDING DAY!!! I don't even know how to begin to say how happy we are with Jessie. We were married on 7/15/11 and we are still getting calls from our guests telling us how beautiful our ceremony was and what an amazing job Jessie did. Jessie is hands down one of the kindest and professional people my husband and I have ever met. She really took the time to sit down with us, get to know us and understand what we wanted out of our special day. To be honest, when we went to her, we knew we wanted the ceremony to be personalized and different, but we weren't sure quite what that meant. Jessie worked with us to make suggestions and share ideas to tailor the ceremony to suit our needs. When I received the first draft of our wedding ceremony from Jessie, I could not stop crying (tears of joy). The level of detail and personalization she put into our ceremony was beyond what we could have expected. Jessie was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we first met we decided to go with her. She was so prepared and so detail oriented we felt no need to look into another officiant. she knows her stuff and it shows. she made our day so special. she had great ideas and really put together a ceremony that made even the toughest of guys shed a tear. she delivered exactly what we wanted. she returned all emails and calls so promptly. she was 100% reliable and dependable. she def has a gift and is very talented- you will not regret hiring her.

We LOVED Jessie! She was amazing with everything. Super friendly, knows her stuff, asks for your input, and outlines everything in an easy way for you to understand. She sets up the ceremony - asks for input - edits - gives a timeline - and the "homework" is the best part. She was able to incorporate everything we wanted and we were able to honor family tradition even though neither of us are religious. FANTASTIC OVERALL!

We also wrote our own vows, and she gave truly great tips and advice on doing so. Our families and friends are still talking about how amazingly personal and wonderful our ceremony was, and we were so happy to have Jessie marry us. Jessie did an amazing job with our ceremony. My husband and I had a hard time finding the right officiant, and after meeting Jessie we immediately knew she was the right person. We wanted a custom ceremony, and my husband is jewish and I am catholic, so we didn't want a lot of religion in our wedding. We had talked to other officiants and they really couldn't understand what we wanted. Jessie knew exactly what we were looking for, and put together the most beautiful ceremony that incorporate everything we wanted. Jessie was incredible through the entire process including the day off. She was so calming and relaxed and really made me feel at ease before the ceremony. My guests kept commenting on how beautiful the ceremony was, and even my parents who really wanted it in a church were happy with it.
