Lauren and Kim were terrific to work with. They arrived on time, had everything with them. They made us all look so beautiful. I am the mother of the bride, and I have never looked so good. I was not overdone, but if I say so myself, I looked great! My younger daughter was a bridesmaid and she does usually does her own makeup, quite well. Well, Lauren did an amazing job and my daughter has never looked better. The bride, my older daughter, well what can I say, all brides look beautiful. This girl rarely uses make up so she was concerned that she would look to done up. Well, that was not the case, Lauren made her look like a beautiful natural beauty. The pictures don't lie! As far as the hair goes, Kim was great. We showed her pictures, and she interpreted them to create hair styles for each of us that were so very complimentary. I wish Lauren and Kim could do my hair and make up every time I had a special occasion! They were calm and collected and never became anxious or made us feel rushed. They did their job in record time and we even had time to have a champagne toast! I'd recommend them highly to my best friends!

Lauren and Kim at Makeup Artistry were fabulous! They are very quick and proficient and you can tell they have a lot of experience. They are extremely personable and made my entire wedding party feel at ease chatting throughout the morning getting ready. By the time they left they felt like old friends! My bridal party members each looked unique-they did not do one or two stock styles. Kim suits the hair to what each person would like and feels comfortable in. She also did my mom’s hair which is extremely short because it is growing back from chemo. Lauren’s makeup is wonderful…she had all different ages and did each appropriately. I had some morning nerves and Lauren handled me with such care and did all she could to make me relaxed and ready. I cannot thank these girls enough for their beautiful work and the great experience they provided.

Using Expert Makeup Artistry was one of the BEST investments I made for my wedding – I am still receiving compliments about my hair and makeup! From the trial to the wedding, Lauren was incredibly friendly and responsive and would even periodically check in with me to see how I was doing with wedding planning. Unfortunately, she was booked for another wedding on the same day, but she still answered all of my makeup/hair questions, and really made me feel at ease about everything. I really appreciated her flexibility and felt like she acted more like a friend than a vendor. It’s obvious that she really cares about her clients and wants to do everything she can to create the perfect beginning to any bride’s wedding day!I hired Kim to do hair and Paula to do makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law and my flower girl, and everyone looked fantastic! The morning of the wedding, both ladies showed up early, kept us calm & collected, and were super easy going, but professional. They took their time and spent about an hour and a half on each girl so they felt really pampered and special. Kim is amazing with hair and made everyone look incredible. The day of the wedding, I made a last minute change to my hairstyle and Kim was so understanding and accommodating. She put my hair into this amazing style that I would never have thought to do, and I loved it! As for makeup, Paula was a true artist. My husband was so worried that I wouldn’t ‘look like myself’ on our wedding day, but he was blown away with the makeup Paula did and kept telling me how beautiful I looked. In the end, I thought my girls and I looked BEAUTIFUL! Exactly how I pictured everyone to be & more! The girls and I danced straight through the wedding and didn’t need one touch up to hair or makeup – that in and of itself should show you what incredible work these ladies do. There is no better feeling that knowing you look incredible on your wedding day, and Kim and Paula made that happen for me. I would definitely recommend Lauren and her team to anyone who wants to look gorgeous! Thank you Lauren, Kim, & Paula!

Lauren and Kim did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party on 05/21. They were the only trial I went to. They arrived earlier than scheduled and had us done early as well (with no rushing around). Everyone looked FANTASTIC! They were very flexible in terms of what styles we liked and also having to make a few unexpected changes to the contract. They even reviewed the pictures they had taken of my mom and I at the trial and came equipped with additional suggestions the day of. Best of all, the makeup wasn't too heavy and cakey; I looked like myself but fancier (which was important to me). The makeup and hair lasted until the next day and looked perfect through lots of dancing. I looked the best I ever have, and more importantly, felt the most confident I ever have. I recommend them without a doubt!

Working with Lauren and Kim was a pleasure. Not only are they both friendly and easygoing but more importantly, reliable, affordable and incredibly talented. As most brides know, the day of your wedding carries a mixture of emotions and you just hope your day goes by smoothly and without a hitch. For me, Lauren and Kim helped make that sentiment possible. Lauren and Kim arrived a little earlier than the start time, which was comforting, and immediately got to work. The two of them were able to handle a total of 6 ladies, including myself, within just a couple of hours-working seamlessly as team. The mood in the room was light, as Lauren and Kim would switch off on girls, never once making anyone feel rushed or unsatisfied. By the time we were all done, we felt pampered, gorgeous and confident. I can’t say enough good things about Lauren and Kim. As the bride, it was really important to me that my bridesmaids, mother and mother in-law, felt good about themselves and the money we were spending. When all was said and done, it was great to see my ladies so happy with their hair and makeup-they felt good about themselves and it showed. For myself, I felt that I looked exactly as I had hoped and even better than I imagined. Lauren and Kim did SUCH a fabulous job with hair & Make-up. My sister and I went for a trial before the wedding, and they took the time and patience to try different styles. They took notes and picutres of all of the different styles that we tried. On the morning of my wedding they arrived (each with an assistant) at 5:30 am and were so calming and professional! They made sure that I didn't worry about a thing! I was so pleased with how my hair and make-up came out, and so were the rest of the girls! My hair even stayed in the whole next day for our brunch!!! Thank you so much to Kim and Lauren for making me feel like princess for a day!

It was awesome working with Lauren. She is an amazing make-up artist, very flexable and always on time. She is usually at your site at least an hour b4 needed. She likes to give herself time "just in case". The trial was so much fun, the music she plays, the conversation she holds, and the most amazing make up job you've ever had. I will continue to use her for whatever other "major" events in my life, and the occasional just cause night with my girls or with my hubby...***love her**** <3Olivia

Lauren is an AMAZING Make-Up Artist!!!! Lauren did my make-up for my wedding and it was a wonderful experience!!! I went to her for a trial run a couple months before my wedding and she took the time to listen to me and how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day. She then took her expertise and filled in all of the gaps that I hadn’t even thought of and made me look absolutely beautiful. She is a true professional and extremely talented!!! I looked and felt beautiful on my wedding day and I received so many compliments!!! I highly recommend Lauren and I will continue to use her services in the future!!!!!

Lauren and Kim where at my house bright and early to do my hair and make-up and several other people in my wedding party. They each took the time to talk with everyone to see what they normally wear and worked with them to make a beautiful complete look. They made everyone comfortable and beautiful!

Lauren & Kim were so great to work with. They were at my parent's house bright & early and ready to work on me, my mom, & four of my bridesmaids. Everybody's hair & makeup came out amazing. The makeup matched everybody's personalities & for a bunch of girls with curly/wavy hair, everybody's hair was tamed nicely and stayed throughout the night. I would definately recommend this duo. Their personalities also helped brighten up the morning. Also, Kim met me at the reception hall & we did a hair change after the ceremony, definately was a nice touch and worth the extra money!

I was so happy with the makeup Lauren did for my July 2010 wedding. She was so friendly and professional, she made everyone feel special! She was one of my favorite vendors!

I spoke to many make up artists and caleld around for prices, and Lauren is by far the most resonably priced for the quality of service she offers. She is down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable at the trial and on your big day. She works with you to help you make a make up choice that is right for you. For example, I don't wear much make up on an every day basis, so for the big day I didn't want to put too much on. Lauren suggested doing a little more so it would show up on the pictures and so that it would last throughout the evening. I took her suggestion and went with a little more, but she still made it look very natural and tasteful. Also, if you are looking for a person to do your hair, Lauren's cousin Kim should be your first choice! Kim did an awesome job with my hair. It lasted throughout the night and it was exactly what I wanted!These ladies are a great team who are both professional and friendly. They make you feel so relaxed on yoru wedding day. They arrived on time and and came prepared. You cannot go wrong with Lauren and Kim! Thank you so much. :)

Let me start by saying I am a huge makeup girl--I collect anything MAC like it's going out style so I knew when I needed to find a makeup artist for my big day--they had to be fab! After trying 2 artists--I wasn't impressed, and began to look online for real brides' opinions. That's when I came across Lauren's name--everyone raved about her talent and awesome personality...I booked a trial right away. Well let me tell you--we clicked instantly! She has one of the warmest, most awesome personalities and makes you feel so comfortable talking to her and asking opinions on makeup looks. She enhanced my beauty--just enough...it wasn't too much like some artists tend to do, but it wasn't natural looking (which I don't prefer)...it was just right! I booked with her right away and even hired her to do my makeup for my bridal shower. I even got my first airbrush application from her and I loved it!!! So natural and glowy! The day of my wedding-Lauren fit right in with my nutty crew---all of my bridesmaids and my mom looked absolutely gorgeous! My makeup was flawless and held up all night (I even wore it to breakfast the next morning--shhh) : ) I can't say enough good praises about Lauren--her talent and personality won me over and I can't wait to find another excuse to get my makeup done by her!!!

All I can say is AMAZING! Lauren is awesome! She is super nice & friendly. She made my day that much better just having her there. She did a total of 9 girls & everyone looked amazing. She brought out everyone's individual likes & features. I could not have been more happy. She has a talent & I would recommend everyone to her. Everyone i talked to said how beautiful all my girls looked. Not only doees she do awesome work but she was there early & finished all my girls with so much time to spare that we didnt have to rush around. She really did an amazing job! I will definetly use her again!

LOVED my wedding makeup! Lauren is truly a professional as well as a down to earth person. I looked and felt beautiful on the most important day of my life and Lauren played a huge role in this. My makeup lasted all day and night (and the mascara through tears!!) she also did my mother, mother in law and 3 of my bridesmaids. She arrived earlier than expected and no one ever felt pressed for time. We were all ready to go with time to spare for photos. I also loved having Lauren around the morning/afternoon of the wedding; she made me laugh when I was feeling the stress. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to look and feel great without feeling overdone.
