Gary Flom Wedding Photography

It was an absolute pleasure working with Gary Flom! Prior to choosing him as our wedding photographer, we met with Gary informally at a coffee shop in New Jersey and casually spoke about his services and looking through his work. He worked around my fiance's dates for an engagement shoot becuase he felt strong about knowing both of us and having us feel comfortable in front of the camera prior to the wedding date. My fiance liked working with him immediately! We both felt that his passion for photography, his understanding of various family dynamics/cultures/traditions, and his welcoming personality all made our wedding day even more memorable. The day of the wedding (which was on Long Island, NY) was great too! Gary was at my house taking the most amazing shots of me, the dress, my family, even the makeup! My fiance also praised the second photographer that Gary had go to his house in the morning. Overall, we feel very lucky to have had Gary Flom on our wedding day.

Highly recommend. Gary was my photographer for my wedding and he was prompt and flexible and did not stop working. I remember seeing him run over to capture fun moments on the dance floor - he made sure that every moment of the day was photographed. He enjoyed photographing our wedding and that is an important trait to find in someone.

Gary was a delight to work with. He arrived right on time and was taking pictures right through the preparation period. He captured the bride and groom getting ready, the "first look" when the groom saw his bride for the first time, photos of the bridal party that were unique and made each person look his/her best. Usually posed photos have a stilted feel. Not those Gary took! He also had many different ideas for settings for photos. He captured the love and enthusiasm and fun that everyone had at the party. There was not one picture where someone was blinking or looked bad. Of course, he made the bride and groom look amazing. The worst part is having to select photos for an album, they are all so wonderful! Oh, also, he took over 1000 pictures and was never ever in the way! How'd he do it? I don't know but I'd hire him again, I will next time one of my kids gets married!

NJ Brides....Gary Flom is your photographer!!! My husband and I looked high and low for a photog. We met with several before we met Gary. I search wedding websites, photgraphy websites, etc looking for a photgrapher, so one day I thought about Craiglist (scary I know). I emailed Gary and he responded right away and I reviewed his website. His photos are GORGEOUS. I immediately fell in love with his style and work. We met with Gary at a local Starbucks and Gary is just so personnable and down to earth. He showed us some "raw" images (photos that have not been edited) and they were amazing. Gary's albums are breathtaking. His pricing is so affordable. We did our engagement shots at Central Park and he gave us such a variety of beautiful pictures. I felt so comfortable with Gary that I even did a Boudoir session with him. Wedding day: Gary spent the entire day and night with us! I am not sure if he even ate anything! Gary was everywhere snapping shots, even my guests commented on how many pictures he must have taken. Gary was with me getting ready, we took pictures before church, at the church, at the venue...but we still had time to enjoy ourselves. Gary does a variety of styles: traditional, candid shots, journalistic, he is open to your tastes. Gary kept in contact with me the entire year of my wedding planning...if I ever emailed him, he emailed me right back....i was sometimes suprised with how fast he responded! I can not wait to see our wedding pictures. All around the board, Gary is a thrill to work with. I am hoping to use him in the future for pregnancy shots :)

We could not be more pleased with Gary!! He was awesome to work with and made you feel comfortable!! The day of my wedding it rained and snowed so we were not able to take as many pictures outside as we liked! I was a little worried but after seeing all the pictures he took i could have not been any more pleased and would have not wanted anything different on my wedding day! I also got the two photographer package which i would recommend! My wedding pictures are BEAUTIFUL and i would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!

Gary was an amazing photographer to work with. Both my husband and I are extremely camera shy, but he made us feel so comfortable. He has a great vision and many of our pictures came out looking like artwork. We would recommend him again and again.

Fabulous photographer! Extremely professional and easy to work with. I loved his take on mixing traditional shots with more modern poses. I would HIGHLY recommend Gary to any future brides!!

I can't say enough how great Gary was to work with. From the beginning he was responsive and professional. He was upfront about everything and is one of the only vendors I worked with who I didn't feel as though I was being ripped off. Gary was open to listening to any and all suggestions but also took charge when you wanted him to. He was with me the entire day of the wedding and I honestly wouldn't have wanted anyone else. My bridal party and I were so comfortable with him and he honestly makes you feel like a million bucks. He threw in so many little extra touches that weren't even in the contract that were a nice surprise. I was so appreciative of everything he did for us. The pictures came out amazing. They were everything I dreamed they would be. There was a nice mix of creative shots and traditional shots. Everyone that has seen them absolutely loves them. I am so happy that we have these beautiful pictures to look at for the rest of our lives. Gary was hands down one of the best wedding vendors I worked with.

Gary Flom's service and quality was phenomenal! From the outset he was organized, reliable and caring - ensuring that he understand the schedule of events for my wedding and that he would be there for all the important moments. Gary was one of the easiest people we worked with through our wedding planning. He is very good about responding to email/phone calls and very helpful with the many questions you may have. I was 110% happy with his work. He makes you feel comfortable and is such a nice person. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. I would use him again....no question! We got some of our pictures in 3 parts as he edited them (about 2-3 weeks after the wedding) and then all of the pictures on disc about 6-8 weeks after the wedding. They were amazing! I have heard so many compliments from friends and family. He gave us over 1700 beautiful pictures. We booked a 2nd photographer with Gary, which I would definitely recommend. We also did an engagement shoot, which I also recommend. It was a great way to get comfortable with him and get to know his style a bit. Gary is AWESOME!!! He is photographing my friend's wedding in May and I can't wait to see his beautiful work again! I know you will be happy with your wedding pictures if you use Gary. He is very talented and a genuinely nice person.

Gary is wonderful from start to finish. He is sincere, easy to work with,punctual, and so helpful. I loved Gary's style; He captures the emotion. I have nothing negative to say....trust me book him. Gary did a fantastic job photographing our wedding, he was easily our favorite vendor. We found Gary to be very professional while being easy to talk to and work with. Gary was responsive from the day we first contacted him through receiving all of our pictures after the wedding. His great eye for the perfect shot and his openness to incorporate our ideas made for great memories at a great price!

We don't know where to begin in reviewing the amazing work of Gary. We found Gary thru a local site and interviewed with him and was so impressed with his work. After seeing a few photographers, we felt most comfortable and confident with Gary and his portfolio. We started out with an engagement session. Gary picked us up and took us to some of his favorite spots in Central Park. Between posed shots and natural walking around shots we were amazed with the outcome. When we received the digital prints we knew we made the right choice! For our wedding we had a two photographer package, something we recommend to everyone. They both arrived on time and was both professional and friendly to everyone. Gary listened to what we wanted our wedding photos to look like and his final prints were even better then we could have ever imagined! There were so many amazing prints Gary had to put together an album for us because we couldn't just pick the few needed for the book compared to the thousands of shots we had. His creativity, skill of his craft, professionalism, personality, and dedication, makes him the only photographer we would ever recommend to anyone getting married to needing shots of there first born. Thank you for making all of our dreams come true Gary!
