I am a very picky mother of the bride. I looked for dresses for several months before I found Jefre Bridals - most dresses out there look way too young, way too dowdy or are way too expensive! I made an appointment and brought two friends with me. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with courtesy. My sales person was Pat, and she allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted, never pressuring me to hurry or make a decision. She and the seamstress Amalia helped show me how several dresses would fit in my size, as many samples were huge on me. The prices were very reasonable, and I thought the selection was huge. I narrowed it down to three and went home to think. The following week I called to see if I could come try them on again and was graciously told to come in any time, no appointment needed. I was concerned that my favorite, in a lightweight crepe, might not provide enough warmth if the airconditioning was blowing on me. Amalia volunteered that she could make a shawl, but I hesitated because I thought it might be too flimsy. She went in the back and came back with a sample shawl for me to try that she said would be similar to a double thickness of the crepe - she would just order extra fabric and sew one to match. The extra charge was minimal. I was fitted and ordered my dress, with no regrets! While there we encountered a bride who was hesitating over two dresses - one from Jefre's and one from another store. She was there for a long time, and no one pressured her either. I am so pleased with the quality of their dresses, the service they afforded me and the reasonable prices. I definitely would recommend this shop to any mother of the bride - or bride for that matter. It's too bad that my daughter had already purchased her gown in another state!

I was originally referred to Jefre's by a very succesfful woman I knew in the bridal industry who has impeccable taste and very high standards for service. I had a rather short engagement and I was super worried about finding a store that would be able to not only get me my dream dress, but alter it to perfection, but then get it in on time without any problems! I walked in to my first appointment and within minutes I was introduced to the amazing staff who was not only warm, and sweet, but also extremely professional. They were respectful of what I wanted, not pushy at all, and totally incredible. Within minutes I had come across my dream gown, which the staff promised would not only be ready in more than enough time, but would be altered to perfection! They were right. Everyone at my wedding thought my dress must have been custom made given how perfectly it fit. They were also able to save the day of last minute and order extra fabric from the company and make me a beautiful piece to wear on my shoulders for the religious ceremony!Jefre's staff was also wonderful to work with being that they are great about confirming appointments and always make themselves available! They are extremely flexible and accomodating with a bride's hectic schedule, and given that I live both in MIAMI and NEW YORK, this was extremely crucial to me. I have nothing bad to say about Jefre Bridals. Not only was the staff incredible, but they were a pleasure to work with! They succeeded in making this very picky girl her dream wedding gown, and for that I am eternally grateful!I would recommend JEFRE BRIDAL to anyone looking for a beautiful gown and impeccable service.

My perfect dress was at Jefre's! I went first thing in the morning and had a wonderful experience with a saleswoman, Pat. She found my dress and helped me through the alteration process. The seamstress is absolutely amazing!

I loved my dress and everything was done ontime, just some of the sales associates were difficult.

I went to Jefre on the recommendation of a friend...I was in the crunch time and needed to find a dress. Luckily, they had the perfect one! Everyone there was nice, but the strict no picture rule (I live 1,000 miles from home and wanted pics to show my mom!) was kind of annoying. Also, they said the dress would only take a few weeks, but it ended up that I ordered in February and it came in early August...at least it was still 2 weeks before the wedding! Jefre was good, got me my dress, and the alterations ladies were very helpful...not sure I would go back if I had to do it over again.

I purchased my bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses at jefre. Some of my maids were upset bc their dresses were too big. However they ordered it big so that they can make it fit you properly. One of my girls took her dress back to jefre two times before the fit and hem were perfect. However she did not have amalia do her work. Now, my dress :) I only went to one store and that was jefre. My dress was the last one I tried on and I knew it was the one. I only started there bc they said if i did purchase my dress there my bmaids would get a discount off their dresses. I didnt think i would have found my dress there but im glad i made appt!! If I would have continued my shopping experience at Kleinfelds, a similar dress would have cost three times what I paid for at jefre. Amalia is AMAZING. She works hard and is great at her job. Many people have reviewed her as unprofessional and unfriendly, but she is wonderful!! . I cried when I picked up my gown and thanked her for the perfect way she altered the bottom of my dress and added more lace appliqués to hide the seam of the dropped waist. I love you amalia!!! I also purchased my headpiece and veil from Jefre as well. Both of which I loved and received many compliments on :)

Jefre's was quite the fortunate experience for me, given how much I was dreading the dress process. They opened the store during usually closed hours and I had the entire place for myself - though the sizes to try on are limited, they have a wonderful selection. Amalia is the BEST alterations woman I have ever met, to the extent that she selected a dress for me to try on (which I did not think I'd like) and ended up being the one! They know what compliments your body and are very encouraging during the entire process. Even my bridesmaids had a great experience - including one who needed such last minute work that it was during the rehearsal. Only thing that surprised me was the cost of my gown's alterations; the girls' however were free.

Jefre had a beautiful selection of dresses within a reasonable price range. My consultant was very helpful with picking out dresses for me. I showed her a few pictures, and she pulled one that was very similar to one I fell in love with at another store (too expensive). It was a gorgeous Allure private collection dress, within my price range, and I knew that had to be the one. She wasn’t pushy at all and really wanted to help me find something I loved. I liked that the alterations for the bust, waist and hips were included in the services, but I was disappointed with the hem and bustle, which I had to pay for. I was concerned that the hem was still a bit long but the seamstress insisted that no one would be stepping on me. Within two minutes of walking around the cocktail hour, I was getting stepped on repeatedly, and mainly by the groom! I knew I’d be dancing a lot and after two songs, the bustle broke and my dress was all over the floor. Good thing the venue attendant knew how to pin it back up, but I spent the rest of the night holding the bottom of the dress up. I was too happy to really care but disappointed that I paid all that money to not have the seamstress listen to me. Go for their great selection, but be vocal about your alterations.

Terrible service! I went to Jefre Bridals with my mother and aunt to shop for a wedding gown. The consultant I had that day was very nice, and when I found a Maggie Sottero gown that I loved, she told me there would be no problem at all making it work within my (very reasonable) budget. I told her that I wanted my father to see it before purchasing, and she made a note of the style number in their records. A week later, I returned with my mother, father, and brother. After trying on the gown and deciding to purchase it, an employee began writing up my contract with a price several hundred dollars higher than the consultant had given me. When I pointed it out to the employee, the owner came over and told me that the consultant had not made any note of the price I mentioned and implied that I was making it up (fortunately, my mother, who had been there for my first appointment, was present to confirm the price I'd been given). He told us that it was absolutely impossible for him to lower the price any lower than it was, lest he lose money on the transaction. I told him that the gown was out of my budget, and we left the salon without ordering the gown (and with me in tears). We believe the owner was convinced that I would buy the dress at the higher price and that he did not think he would lose the sale, and our belief was confirmed the next day when I got a phone call from him telling me (condescendingly) that he would do me a special favor by lowering the price and that I could come in right away to order the gown. By then, I had already spoken to several salons in the area and found that they were selling the very same Maggie Sottero gown for several hundred dollars less than Jeffre Bridals was. It was all very sneaky to me, and I chose not to give my business to a liar. While Jefre's consultants and seamstress were nice, helpful, and friendly in my experience, the salon's owner is its biggest detriment. He was very rude and was willing to operate under a very poor business practice in order to make a few bucks. A businessman should NEVER tell the customer that they are wrong, and I do not believe they should lie about prices in order to make a better sale. He embarrassed me in front of my family and other customers, and he seemed to enjoy it. There are other salons nearby with better selections, MUCH better prices, and owners/managers who are good at their jobs. Under no circumstances would I recommend.

I am so thankful that I found my dress at Jefre's. I went MANY places before coming here. I had a specific picture in my mind of what I wanted, and was just picking stores in a 25 mile radius, hoping I'd find something to match that picture and within my budget. Nothing any of the consultants pulled was a match. I walked into Jefre's, showed my photos and described my dream dress to the consultant. The first dress she pulled was the dress I chose. Perfect to a "T". During that visit they even brought Amalia, the seamstress, out to show me just how they could alter the dress to fit me properly, which was very nice to have that personal touch.Every visit to the salon was like walking into Cheers...Jefre knows everyone by name AND dress. He and the team were always helpful on the phone and easy to get in touch with. They really know what they're talking about and are always flexible and willing to help. And Amalia was a doll, and very skilled at what she does. I felt like I was in good hands.I would recommend anyone to go there to look at gowns. They really do have a good selection, and they know their stock. The gown I bought was a little out of my budget, but I think it was a great value considering the personal service I got. Definitely check them out!

Jefre and his team worked with me to find the perfect dress well within my budget. Elaine was with me when we found "the dress" and she was so professional yet offered great opinions on the style, color, size, etc. A few alterations had to be made when the dress came in and Amalia did a wonderful job - she even created a French bustle - something I'd never heard of, but it worked perfectly with the style and shape of the dress. I absolutely wish I could wear my wedding dress again because it was so gorgeous - and the experience with Jefre bridals was more than I had hoped for!

The people at Jefre's were very nice. I went in during a trunk sale and got a great deal on a Maggie Sottero dress. The people there were nice and the seamstress was amazing! I would definitely suggest going in and taking a look.

My experience with Jefre Bridals was nothing but great. I actually live in Brooklyn, and searched for my dress at local bridal stores in Brooklyn but I did not like the sales representative or the dress selection there. They also did not fit my budget. A friend of mine who recently got married recommends to try stores in NJ since they are smaller and more personal. I Googled some stores in a reasonable driving distance away from me with good reviews and Jefre Bridal fit both of these criteria’s. As soon as I came into the store the sales lady was really nice to me and I told her the designer and style that I was looking for. I tried 3 dresses and then fell in love with one of them right away. The prices of the dresses were really affordable and the alterations were much cheaper than in Brooklyn. The sales lady or the owner did not pressure me or anything and gave me time to be certain about my decision. After 40 minutes in the stores I placed the order...the owner of the store was great with helping me decide if I should order Ivory or White. I left the store uncertain of the color and called him numerous times for advice. He send me pictures of the different shades and told me his honest opinion and I am so happy that I listen to his advice. Jefre was great all the way from the time of the order till the time I got my dress. I originally ordered the dresses for an August wedding and a month later I changed the date of the wedding to June. I was really concerned about the fact that the dress will not be ready on time and I called Jefre right away to find out if I should worry. Although he could not tell me the exact date when would it arrive he ensured me that it would be ready for me on time and kept on following up with the designer to see if he can get more details.I got the dress right on time and the seamstress was great. she altered the dress in a few days for me and they were flexible with me all the way as to the time when the opened the store for me (I had to drive to NJ before work so they opened the store early morning for me to pick it up).I am really happy I got my dress there and I loved the selection and kindness of all the employees there!Thank you Jefre Bridals for helping making my wedding day amazing and beautiful!

When looking for a place to choose my bridal gown I had two requirements in mind: friendly staff and a good selection of gowns. Jefre’s Bridal was recommended to me by someone on theknot.com as fitting both these requirements and they were not wrong. From the moment I stepped into Jefre’s with my Mum I could tell that it was a friendly place and felt more at ease - I was pretty nervous and the assistant that helped us that day was wonderful. The assistant asked what I was looking for and off we went. The store is small, however, they have a great selection of dresses and so I was able to try on all kinds of styles if I wished. Although I didn’t fit the sample sizes, the assistant made every effort to make me feel comfortable in walking out into the shop to show my Mum. I was not forced into any style by the assistant, she let me and my Mum lead the appointment where we wanted it to go, and she didn’t rush me through my appointment or make me feel as if I had tried on too many dresses. The sixth dress I tried on was “the one” - it was (and is) beautiful. There was actually one other in the running at that stage and the other dress was less expensive. The assistant was aware of our budget and although both fit inside of the budget, she very tactfully pointed out the price differential to ensure we considered the price factor as well - both looked great and the assistant didn’t once try and push us into the more expensive dress. Excellent service. On finding my dress with such relative ease, I found my veil that same day and felt wonderful - I had found the dress of my dreams and thanks to the friendly staff at Jefre’s I had had a wonderful experience as well.We didn’t think twice about buying our bridesmaids and flowergirl dresses at Jefre’s and these dresses were beautiful also - Jefre’s selection of such dresses is excellent. Over the months leading up to the wedding we had multiple appointments at Jefre’s for fittings. Each time we tended to turn up very early and each time they were extremely accommodating and saw us at the earlier time. All the staff at Jefre’s are wonderful, but a special mention must go to the seamstress that did wonderful things with the bustle of my dress and the alterations I requested, but also wonderful things with the Mother of the Bride dress. I was always nervous when trying on my dress (will it fit? will it look nice? etc), but she put us at ease and was just lovely to interact with. She felt like one of the family by the end of the whole process!I can’t recommend Jefre’s enough - if you want a more personal touch than the large wedding gown supermarkets, friendly staff and a great selection and great prices then Jefre’s is the place to go. Jefre’s and his staff are truly excellent and you’ll be in the best hands.

I was happy to find my wedding dress at Jefre Bridals. Jefre was nice and the seamstress was very helpful with ideas and assisting the bride. It would have been perfect if they have more selection of boleros and two sleeves available for the bride and mother of the bride at their store that cost less expensive. Overall service was ok.

Wow, what a horrible place! I have never seen such terrible service. Upon entering the store, I thought that this was going to be a really great shopping day. We were looking for bridesmaids dresses and the woman who began helping us was great. She put all of our gowns into a room and then that was it. The rest of the staff including the owner were extremely rude and unhelpful. The website made it seem like they have a huge store with tons of selections but that is not the case. The dresses we picked out online weren't even in the store! The don't carry half of the lines listed. So we tried on other dresses...half way through, one of the staff memebers knocked on the door and began to look through our dress selections until she found the one she was looking for. She said she needed it and then began to walk away. After a few seconds, she turned around and then asked if we were done with it. Why not ask that first!!!! We narrowed out choices down to two dress and decided that it would be a great idea to take some pictures to help with our decision making and were told that you are not able to take pictures unless you purchase the dress first and that the camera flashing was very disruptive. What? Why can't you take pictures. The same dresses are online!!!!! Maybe, it was the baby screaming from the other dressing room that was disruptive to the other customers! We decided to leave and asked that the dress styles be written down for us. While helping me, the owner put my stuff aside and had four other conversations about other dresses and orders and about a bride who just walked in. They handed me a card with the information on it or so I thought. It wasn't the dress styles! It was some letters that didn't even make sense. Just before we walked out of the store, I heard the rude sales lady ask the bride if she was ready...she said yes. She handed her a picture of a dress and then the sales lady began to laugh. She asked Jefre to look at the picture and then he began to laugh. How do you laugh at a dress someone else picked out for their special day! I will never go there again. I don't know how they are rated so well. They are just terrible and rude!!!!!

My experience with Jefre's was quite mixed. When I was there to look for my wedding dress, along with 3 bridesmaid dresses, I found the staff to be VERY rude and short with my mom and sisters. My mom was paying for my dress and I couldn't believe how they treated her. I came back again to try on my actual dress, along with veils, and again - completely nasty to my mom. It was ridiculous. They acted like they were doing US a favor. When I came back for my fitting, I must admit that the staff was very nice - to everyone and helpful. However, a few days before the wedding, I tried on my dress and it was too big. I had only lost maybe 2-3 pounds. I was told they would take it in and that it would be fine to just pick up - not try again. Huge mistake. The dress was gigantic on me. I had to shove tissues in my chest, pin the back tighly and tie my ribbon super tight. It stretched out a ton as the night wore on - which is something they should have known and considered. I was really, really upset. It even ruined some of my pictures. I would never recommend that ANY bride go to Jefre's.

The woman that helped me asked what I liked and proceeded to tell me that every gown that I looked at in the store was out of my price range, not the style I wanted, and not the type of beading/design that I liked. She was completely negative and didn't seem to want me to try on any of the dresses. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone.

Jefre Bridals was superb. I was married in October and couldn't have asked for better service with my gown. We purchased my gown, 3 bridesmaid dresses, my mom's dress, and all jewelery (my headpiece was stunning). All were exceptional, and great value for the price. I would recommend anyone to go here if you are looking for a gown. They love brides and show enthusiasm in getting you into that perfect dress. I am so happy I went there.

I bought my dress at Jefre Bridal, a Maggie Sottero that was perfect... except it didn't have the straps I wanted. They ordered extra lace from the designer so they could make straps for me. We also paid to order embellishments so the straps would match the top of the dress. Well... Maggie Sottero would not sell Jefre the embellishments. 2 weeks before my wedding, just before the final fitting, Jefre went into NYC himself to get me embellishments that would make my straps match my dress! I got tons of compliments and no one knew the straps were not original to the dress, they matched perfectly!
