Kay English captured the large and small details of our wedding day and turned them into stunning photos! We absolutely loved working with Kay- she was are able to take control and organize when needed (my mom... look at the camera..) and other times "[she is] like a ninja" (husband). Fellow Brides: Let me first say, you are already a step ahead if you are reading this and the many positive reviews of Kay English Photography. Upon meeting Kay for the first time, I instantly felt like I was in the company of a lifelong friend. She was truly genuine and sweet. My wedding was scheduled to take place the day before Hurricane Irene hit the coastal towns of New Jersey. With only hours to go before our walk down the aisle, the venue cancelled. But I was dressed, and Kay and her team were there, so as they say, the show must go on. We moved the wedding to a friend’s backyard, and started throwing together what we thought was going to be a simple backyard ceremony. Kay’s calm demeanor under pressure really shined. Through my tears, and asking why me, Kay said “let’s pray.” At that moment, I appreciated the decision my fiancé and I made months before. There was no better person to be there in that moment except Kay. As plans changed by the minute, Kay and her team trudged on, never muttering a peep of discontent. The day, miraculously worked out for the absolute best. The wedding I planned couldn’t even compare to the wedding I had. And thankfully, Kay captured every beautiful moment of it. If nothing else, you should hire Kay for the stunning images she captures, and just know you are getting a truly remarkable person behind the camera too!

We met with many photographers and Kay was the standout immediately!! Not only was her work heads above the others, but as a person she is truly wonderful. Kay made mine and my husbands wedding a breeze. She was on-time, kept things moving, out of the way, but captured every moment that was special to us. Our pictures were amazing!!! We new early on that Kay had to be our photographer for our wedding. She did an amazing job on our engagement shoot and went above and beyond all of our dreams on our wedding day. She is considerate, kind, responsible, professional and calming! I felt like she was one of my bridesmaids there to help out during our wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Kay did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding photos. Her work is fantastic and you can tell that she loves what she does. She made us feel so comfortable while she was doing our photos and was so creative with the different shots she took. I loved all of our engagement photos and the wedding photos I've seen look gorgeous! Kay was amazing!! I would recommend her to any couple. She is such a nice person that she instantly makes you feel more at ease on a day which can be pretty hectic. She was wonderful with all the children in my bridal party and we got nothing but compliments on her from all of our guests. She captured the day beautifully and was able to get photos that I wasnt even aware were taking place! She made our wedding experience that much more special and in my opinion, she was the most important aspect of our wedding. You will want to look at your pictures forever!

Our experience with Kay was more than I could have ever hoped for. From the time that we took our engagement pictures to our very special day, Kay has been so great to work with. When you are around Kay it is obvious that she is enthusiastic and passionate about her work and about you. She always makes you feel like your the most special bride and groom. We had gotten so many compliments on our engagement pictures and people inquiring about using her as well. I was curious how she would top our creative engagement shoot at the wedding but she did an awesome job. Our pictures were unique and exciting. I can't say enough great things about Kay. She has a great, positive attitude and such a fresh take on photography. She has a very artistic eye and great style in her photographs. She was upbeat the whole day and was great with everyone in the bridal party - and I have to say she was extremely patient even with some shutterbugs in the family who kept trying to play photographer and steal her shots! You know you are having a great time with your photographer when she is jumping up and down because she is so excited about the photos. Kay was wonderful to work with and made us feel very at ease! From the few photographs we saw so far we are extremely excited to see the rest! Everyone at the wedding kept coming up to us telling us how much they loved all of the photos she was showing on the slideshow, something we didn't know she was going to do but were very pleased about. She was extremely transparent throughout the night; only knowing that photos were being taken because we would see a flash every now and then. Kay is very creative and very enthusiastic, two attributes we loved about her!

What can I say about Kay English? She is an extraordinary, pleasant and stunning human being who is so passionate about her work. You have full confidence in her talent and know that your pictures will come out amazing. She is one vendor at our wedding that I knew I could count on to be PERFECT!! Kay English is so amazingly talented! She sees art in everything and takes the most beautiful shots. We really feel blessed to have found such an excellent photographer for our wedding. When I look back at the photos she has taken I feel like I am looking at a magazine! One word AMAZING!
