Lamar Wedding Center

Using Lamar Wedding Center was such a breeze! Planning a wedding can be a bit overwhelming, but Lamar made it simple. They're like a one-stop-shop. We used them for Music for ceremony and reception, Photography and Videography, who were all great! Thank you guys!

My husband is a photographer of 30 years and we found Lamar Wedding Center at an Expo at the Betwood in Totowa NJ. He fell in love with Rita Lamar's book! Immediately he went to meet with them in Montclair only to discover that he could purchase a package to include the florist, DJ, Limo and videographer! The prices were just excellent and what we can see of the photgraher's work so far is just so beautiful and professionally done. Thank you to the staff at Lamar! And especially to Rita, you helped make our affair just perfect.. :)

Our photographers name was Lee. He was courteous and a true professional. Our entire wedding party including us, was never and he made us laugh and put us all at ease. He asked all the right questions and I didn't have to stay on top of him to get certain shots. Lee was in all the right places at the right times and didn't skip a beat! We were VERY pleased with him. The center was also VERy good with our engagement photos

We employed Lamar Wedding Center for their photography services, and also hired Rita Lamar as our officiant. We could not be happier with the results. From the first day we came into the office, all of the staff of the Lamar Wedding Center were very friendly and accommodating towards us. Their photography services are very fairly priced, and most importantly to us, being of a DIY bent, rights to the photographs are retained by the couple. Rita gave us the flexibility to write a very poetic, ecumenical and personal ceremony, which she delivered with aplomb on our wedding day. She always made herself available throughout the process, responding to emails sometimes within minutes and never later than an hour or two. Despite our wedding being scheduled for the Fourth of July weekend on the Jersey Shore, she and her staff drove down on a Friday for the rehearsal. The photographer, Derek, was a true professional, with an infectious sense of humor and a great eye for capturing our special moments. He constantly smiled throughout and seemed to sincerely have fun at our wedding. The final product were hundreds of gorgeous photographs which were available in digital form within a week, and were hosted online within two weeks. We would wholeheartedly recommend both the photography and officiant services of Lamar Wedding Center, to any couple. These are among the most important services at your wedding and Lamar Wedding Center will not disappoint.

We recently used Lamar for All their services accept for Honeymoon Travel(Haven't gotten around to that yet, but when we do they are #1 on our list). The price was great under 8k for all services.. My Cousin was soo disappointed we didn't hear of them sooner for her wedding... She paid 8k just for photgraphy alone with a company in Bklyn.. Guy told her her album was being made in Italy!! Two years and she's still waiting.. I had all my work within 4 months of my wedding date and the VIDEO was AWESOME the PHOTOS AMAZING!!!!! I recommend LAMAR HIGHLY! Stopping back in to write a review for my Dec. 2010 wedding. I booked Lamar for photo and video and I was so happy with the results. I didn't know what to expect (the cost was very low) but I think the photos are actually a lot better than some friends who paid WAY more lol. The staff was friendly and we had such a good time with the photographer. The video came out great too. Already recommended a couple friends. I (like many brides) was nervous to use a wedding center, but Lamar really did an awesome job!

Lamar Wedding Center serviced us with Video and Photo. Both were on time with great customer service. Our story telling wedding video is Amazing!! It's a memory that we will always treasure. We also bought the Raw footage. We liked that they used mostly all of the footage to tell out story. :) We love our wedding video. Also, our wedding photos! But i would of like for our photographer to have taken more photos of our guests and wedding details. We got amazing shots but I would of like more.

After careful considertion we chose Lamar Wedding Center. Since it was such a special day we wanted only the best available. We were so pleased when we received our proofs. Not just by the quality of the pictures but the unexpected photos that were captured of our guests. Our photographer George was a professional and non intrusive. He captured guests and situations that I would not have remembered, being such a hectic day. I would highly recommend Lamar Wedding Center to my coworkers, friends and family members. From our first contact I knew that everything was going to be handled professionally and it was something that I did not have to worry about. Thank you all at Lamar.

I am so relieved I found this place - the customer service at Lamar Wedding Center was amazing!! Their consultants were helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. They offered a range of services at different cost levels, so we were able to choose the package that was right for us.

This was a lower cost vendor. They say you get what you pay for, but did we ever get more than we expected! David was awesome on the day-of and got great footage of our wedding!

I had booked both my photographer and videographer with Lamar. I didn't like that my photographer gave little direction. I don't really have pics with my bridal party except for inside of church. As well as my family thought that he could have been more vocal as to the size order and better positioning.

My brother and aunt got married 2 weeks apart. My Aunt had to pay top dollar at an "upscale" photography studio in Ridgewood. My brother who had a smaller budget. I, being the best man, helped out my brother so I was happy he went with LAMAR for about 1/4 of the cost; I hoped I gave him the right advice at my first job as best man. Their staff was so friendly and 'down to earth'; it difused many potentially stressful situations and gave us a feeling of confidence about the professional services that we would have at the wedding. Being Italian and all... Everyone in the family has something to say and everything has to be perfect. Not to mention my brother was 'competing' with my aunt. There was no comparison. Lamar was like part of the family. They took over 500 pictures and we hardly knew they were there. They had every angle (posed and candid). Pictures with the relatives were taken without us even having to ask. And they did not interupt our celebration to get the job done. The lived up to everything they presented. They also gave helpful wedding planning suggestions that we benefitted from and didn't have to pay for. On top of it all... my aunt was so upset when she saw they high quality of photography given by LAMAR and began the war with her photograher and the garbage he gave her at 4x the price. We got what we paid for and more! One of the girls joked with us and said, "We do it right, the first time!" It was kind of funny with all the people I know who are divored. But they certainly did, "do it right". They will get many more weddings to come from our family.

I booked Lamar Services for my wedding video. I didn't do much shopping around since a video wasn�t that important to me. I wanted to have it, but I didn�t want to pay a high price for it. I found the Lamar staff was very friendly and very helpful during the time of the booking. The price matched exactly what I was looking for. Since I wasn�t too into having a videographer, I was surprised when the videographer that showed up for my wedding was barking out orders. I paid a lot of money for my photographers and he would try to change poses or move us during a shot. He also did NOT accommodate for my very talkative and crazy wedding party - the photographers seemed to laugh with us while they were working when the videographer was a little rude. The wedding video turned out nice and was sent to me within weeks. Lamar was very professional to deal with. I would recommend, but I would make it clear that I wanted my photographers to take the lead.

They are really a one stop shop! I love my photos and video, the car was in great condition and the driver the best! He was very attentive and helpful.

We haven't received our pictures back yet but, they have been nothing but professional. The day of the wedding they all went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were taken care of and they listened to any details that we wanted.

I had my video and photos done by them, and they were exceptional, they showed up early and was very flexible. I had so much demands on what kinds of photos should be taken, the guy was great. The Video guy was wonderful, you barely even knew he was there taking the video, especially at our church ceremony.
