Limelight Floral Design

We used Ella and Limelight Floral for the flowers for our September wedding. After meeting with Ella at her Hoboken studio and describing what our vision was, she put together a plan that was exactly what we had outlined. A few weeks before our wedding, Ella put together a sample of our centerpiece for us to take a look at - it was exactly as we had envisioned! We knew we were in good hands. Ella was a total pro and very flexible with last minute changes. We ended up moving around some of our tables at the last minute and she was able to rearrange the arrangements no problem. She never said no! We highly recommend Ella and Limelight Floral!

Ella is AMAZING! From the minute you meet her, you can tell Ella loves what she does and is super excited to execute whatever vision you have for your wedding. I wanted a very whimsical, garden-like feel to my bouquet and floral arrangements. We worked very closely together and she was very responsive when I sent her tons of pictures and an "inspiration" board. She was patient with me and gave me wonderful suggestions. She is also super accomodating...a few weeks before my wedding, she met with me again, picked me up and even drove me to the venue in her car. She showed us the vases she was going to use for the arrangements and gave me a better idea of what flowers she was going to use for our centerpieces. On the day of my wedding, Ella hand delivered the bouquet...and my bouquet and my sister's bouquet were BREATHTAKING. I was so excited to see the flowers at the ceremony and reception...all i can say is GORGEOUS! Ella is so talented and so willing to work with you...she is also super affordable compared to other florists. The work she does is worth so much more than what she charges!!!! Love her!

I was impressed with Limelight Floral Design from the initial meeting to our wedding day. Ella was a pleasure to work with and very quickly understood my vision and style. I also felt more comfortable knowing that Ella had prior experience with our venue and she contributed great ideas based on that. She worked within my budget and was flexible right to the week of the wedding. We didn't want to spend a fortune on flowers and I feel like we got a good value for our money. All of our flowers were beautiful. In fact, my bouquet was bigger than I expected.

I used Limelight because I wanted some floral arrangements for a bridal shower that I was hosting iin my home. I came in and right from the start, Ella was lovely, extremely accommodating, and was clearly enthusiastic about her work. She worked within my budget and delivered beautiful arrangements that were above and beyond what I was expecting for a small and relatively modest event. All my guests remarked at how utterly gorgeous and lovely the flowers were - they really enhanced the mood of the event and made it all the more festive. I encourage everyone to think of Limelight not only for weddings but for special events and any kind of party. I was very happy with their service throughout. Ella is a gem and I wish her and all who are affiliated with Limelight continued success. I will be sure to use them again for my next dinner party or holiday!

I was a bride on a budget, and determined to DIY my own flowers, including the centerpieces. Of course I was out of mind. In researching mail order flowers in bulk, and other money saving schemes, the time & effort required to assemble and make them look somewhat presentable, as well as the bouquets and boutonnieres, and what about lovely flowers or petals for my lovely flowergirls? was simply overwhelming.Finding Ella/Limelight Floral was a godsend. She was patient, asked the right questions, and really listened. She was able to work with our budget, and make the most of it. She also reined me in when I got carried away and forgot I had a budget. My bouquets were gorgeous, our centerpieces were elegant, and no one would have guessed there was a budget constraint. She also decorated our cake, and it was beautiful! She took my answers to her questions and made a vision out of them. Limelight Floral truly helped make our day really special.

The best. Highly recommended. It was such a relief to see my gorgeous peony bouquet walk into the hotel room. I knew then that this is for real.This is it. This is actually going to happen and everything is falling into place. Again, working with Ella was the best. Every email answered within minutes, every little silly change received and applied. I was actually not expecting this to be so easy.

Overall, the experience with Limelight was great. Ella was very responsive & open to our vision. My bouquet & my bridesmaid bouquets were absolutely stunning - I was completely thrilled with them. We were supposed to have a large cherry blossom piece but found out the week of the wedding that it wasn't possible. I'm not even sure what Ella ended up using but it was gorgeous - we were really happy with what she provided instead. I wasn't too fond of the bouts she created, but we didn't provide very clear direction, so I take that as a mistake on my part. She did send a few extras which was very nice & we used them for ushers. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely rehire Limelight!

Exceeded our expectations. The bouquets were spectacular.I did not provide Ella with an incredible amount of direction and she completely got the look and feel we had envisioned, all within our budget constraints. Prompt and reliable. Highly recommended.

The best, just the best. I was impressed with how flexible they were and how easy it was to work with them. They showed up earlier then expected and seeing those beautiful flowers made me feel confident that the day will be just perfect.

Working with Ella was the best part of my wedding. After communicating my needs, I let her take innitiative in determining the overall feel and she did. Our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful and bountiful arrangements, my bouquet was so beautiful and the colors were simply perfect. I am glad that i approached this hands free and did not waste my time worying and being a bridezilla. Letting the artists work their magic was the best choice for me.

Ella did an excellent job on my flowers and was so easy to work with and quick to respond to all my many questions. Her work is so beautiful and professional and prices are awesome too. Would highly recommend no matter what your occasion!!

Finding someone for the flowers took us the most time. There is such a wide range of price points for the what appears to be the same selection. We were looking for something very basic so to spend a lot of money on things like having someone there during the event to ensure the set up of the room from the ceremony to the dinner wasn't necessary. Ella was great - for our first meeting she was willing to meet us in Manhattan which was very accomodating. She was very professional and always responsive to my emails. She took time to meet me in the flower district to look at the flowers that were being considered for the wedding which was a nice touch. We definitely got a good value. She was able to throw in extras like flowers on the card table and ladies room and still fall under budget. The ceremony set up and dinner tables were excellent. My bouquet was also beautiful. The bridesmaids bouquets looked a little limp as well as the men's but I think it had a lot to do with us using tulips for these. Everything still showed up lovely in pictures and my only suggestion would be to voice a concern to make them fuller. I would highly recommend Ella as a vendor without hesitation!

Ella at Limelight Light Floral was wonderfull. She did an amazing job and I recieved a ton of compliments on my bouquets and floral arrangements. She worked with a very small budget and came up with very creative ideas to maximize impact. Her prices our very reasonable and she was a pleasure to work with. The flowers came out exactly the way I invisioned them.

Ella was a pleasure to work with. I loved how easy it was to communicate with Ella as well. I planned my wedding out of state and talking to her the first time, my mind was put completely to ease. She took my ideas and came up with bouquets that were just absolutely breathtaking.

I would recommend Limelight Floral to any bride. I just got married 2 days ago and I was just so pleased with both the service and the end product. Our flowers were gorgeous and delivered on time! This is a professional business and they care about your desires :-).

My husband and I had trouble finding a local florist who understood our vision until we met Ella at Limelight Floral. When we asked for cinammon sticks and apples incorporated in our bouquets, her eyes lit up. She more than surpassed our vision, at a price less than most cookie cutter shops. If you want someone who listens, is passionate about what she does, and really cares, head straight to Limelight!

I couldn't believe my eyes when they handed my bouquet. It was over the top and bouts were so cute that even though my fiance said he wouldn't wear anything, he ended up pinning his own bout.The reception was fabulous, I loved the flowers and at the end of the night they hardly had anything to pick up, as all my guests were quick to take them home.All in all, I was very lucky to be dealing with this designer, as I got the best and it didn't cost me what other shops were ready to charge me.

LimeLight Floral is THE BEST!!!! I give the highest recommendation for Ella and her company. Working with her as my florist was the easiest and most delightful part of my wedding preparations. She is amazingly talented and just a fantastic person. You will totally regret it if you do not work with her... simply because she is the best.

Ella was great. Her price was AMAZING for someone on a budget--and you would never know by looking at the flowers. I brought Ella a picture of a bouquet that I found in a magazine and she duplicated it perfectly!I even had to make a few last minute changes with the number of corsages and bouts that I needed--and she had no problem changing things around--she even gave me a few extra in case I needed them.
