Catherine was wonderful to work with, I really like her energy and creative vision. I bought wrought-iron pumpkin votive holders, and she transformed them into really beautiful fall centerpieces with wreaths of greenery and flowers. Her flower choices were stunning, and our bouquets were gorgeous, fresh and lasted all night.

Catherine and the Somerset Hills Florist team created a beautiful setting for our ceremony and reception with their floral arrangements! Catherine created beautiful centerpieces for the reception and cocktail hour as well as magnificent arrangements for the ceremony. She was able to take my scattered comments about flowers and create exactly what we were looking for. One of our guests said that she has never seen the church look so beautiful with the arrangements created by Somerset Hills. Catherine also helped us decide on linens to create a cohesive feel to the room. She has a great artistic talent and I would recomend her to all my friends and family.

Catherine was suggested to us by our caterer and as soon as we met with her we fell in love! Not does Catherine come across as confident and knowledgeable about flowers, she is also great at making suggestions about what will look best for a particular venue or style of dress. She is also great at working within your budget, never pushing you to add more than you can pay for- she might even save you money- like for us suggesting that additional lighting will not be necessary for our venue.In addition to personal flowers she did our centerpieces and everything turned out even better than expected! Catherine is a true artist- as a designer myself, and an extremely picky one, she not only was able to intuit my ideas, she was able to supersede my expectations with her floral designs.We got married at a location (Natirar) where we were the first ever couple to ever get married there. There were a ton of logistical issues to iron out, in which Catherine went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay so that I wouldn't have to worry. Her and my vision of an English garden with very natural elements were pulled together in a highly sophisticated and upscale way. Her tablescapes were to die for, and till this day, everyone says it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to because of the decor! I would highly recommend Catherine for any party, or wedding. She has done both my sister in laws weddings, and routinely provides florals for my in laws- she is so creative and can do any style and any budget. We love her work and she is super funny and great to work with on top!

The staff at Somerset Hills seems very knowledgeable about flowers. The shop and its employees seemed slightly disorganized though. In the end, our flowers were beautiful despite some of the final details being different than we spoke about during the planning.

Somerset Hills Florist did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted, and Catherine was able to understand my vision perfectly. She contributed ideas that really gave our floral arrangements a "wow" factor. They delivered all the bouquets and boutinierres were delivered to our hotel on time, and the arrangements at the venue were done beautifully. The main flowers for the venue were white and blue hydrangea. Catherine was able to negotiate with their flower vendor to get a plethora of hydrangea based on our budget. They were able to provide extra arrangements of hydrangea bunches throughout the venue without charging us extra. The arrangements on all the tables were beautiful. I wanted different arrangements throughout the room, at different heights, and in different silver containers (with a vintage feel). Catherine gave me the idea of using unique vases such as silver tea cups, tea pots, and creamers. I was so excited with this idea, and it looked beautiful. Our guests were impressed with how unique our arrangements were.Also, because Somerset Hills Florist owns all of the vases they use, the rental charge of vases is extremely low. They were able to meet us under budget, even though every other florist I visited said we would need to spend $1,000-3,000 more than I was comfortable with for much plainer arrangements that did not meet my vision.Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience with a florist. I would highly recommend using Somerset Hills Florist.

I loved working with Somerset Hills Florist, they were absolutely amazing. Catherine was truly extraordinary in perfecting the vision I had for my wedding. She worked with me to make sure we would have the best flowers for the idea I had. She really took the time to explain things to me and perfect the idea I had. At the wedding we received so many compliments about the flowers which were even more beautiful than we ever expected. She did a wonderful job of making our vision come to life. Catherine at Somerset Hills Florist took care of all my flowers for the bridal party, parents and honored guests, my ceremony, reception and I used her vendor to rent linens for my tables. My mom also used her services for my bridal shower. I can't explain enough about how fabulous she was as a flower/decor consultant! Catherine is extremely creative, works with absolutely any budget (and makes sure to adhere to the budget through the whole process), offers great suggestions and can really help you put your thoughts and ideas together...even if you don't exactly know how to explain them! Her creative outlook, knowledge of all types and colors of flowers, and flexibility really helped us design my perfect look. She even came to my reception hall several weeks before the wedding to show me tables with sample linens and centerpieces so I could see exactly what things would look like. Catherine's professionalism certainly stands out and I would be happy to call her again for any up coming events! Thanks for creating such wonderful displays!

Catherine at Somerset Hills Florist completely nailed the look I wanted for my June 4 wedding. I had no idea exactly what I wanted, I just told her the colors and that I wanted it to feel unique, urban, and chic. WOW, I have never seen such amazing flowers for a wedding and everyone complimented them throughout the night. She created the look I wanted, even though I wasn't sure how to tell her what it was! Very talented group over there and I highly recommend, they made my wedding so beautiful and I can't wait to see all of the photos!!

Catherine at Somerset Hills Florist was terrific! I knew from the moment I met her at a bridal show that she was the only florist who would be able to understand the complicated concepts in my head and translate them into beautiful works of art to fit my theme. She was easy to work with, took the time to learn my likes and dislikes, and communicated well. She delivered above and beyond my expectations. Most beautiful centerpiece arrangements and bouquets imaginable!

I do not think my wedding would have been nearly as beautiful without Somerset Hills Florist. We decided to visit them through the recommendation of our venue (Olde Mill Inn), and from the moment we sat down with Catherine Cotter, we felt like we were in good hands. Catherine is a true talent, and her knowledge is unmatched. I brought her sample photos of what I was looking for, and not only did she know precisely the style I wanted, exactly the flowers needed and what season they were available, but she added to my vision 10 fold. We decided on using her that very day.Throughout the process, she was a pleasure to work with. She was prompt and attentive with communication through email and by phone, never leaving me hanging for a second. She never assumed something would be fine; if something was not panning out the way we had planned it, she would call me, send me images of the alternatives, even text me photos of sample arrangements she had whipped up. Being the detail oriented bride that I was, this was VERY comforting.We were also slightly indecisive, and Catherine's patience was a virtue. She gave us suggestions without pushing us into decisions. She took her time with us like she had no other clients but us. Her contracts are very thorough and she leaves no stone left unturned. She was precisely on time the day of the affair, and even checked in with me and my husband after setting up to make sure we had everything we needed. And this goes without saying for how much I'm raving about her, but all the flower arrangements were beyond gorgeous. Just what I had pictured in my head and then some. Like I said, she is very talented.Price-wise, she was very reasonable. We only visited two other florists in the process, but her prices were comparable to anything you'd find in this area. However, that coupled with her impeccable customer service, the money was well spent indeed. I will say that if you are having a Jewish affair, and you're looking to use a birch wood chuppah like we did, it can get pricey. Ask if anyone else around your date needs one too. The branches are pretty disposable/don't last too long, so if you can share the branches with another couple, it cuts the cost down significantly. Some people like to elaborately decorate their chuppah with flowers, but we did what Catherine considered the bare minimum, and it looked GORGEOUS. Just a few bunches of flowers on the front corners and some ivy strung across.So in short, Somerset Hills was one of my favorite vendors, due in most part to Catherine. I would DEFINITELY recommend them!

Catherine is wonderful to work with. My bouquets looked beautiful and so did my centerpieces. She charged us a nominal fee and she would set them up. She has a very modern style which I love. Her ideas are fresh. She didn’t try to up sell me when I told her we were on a flower budget and she even came in $200 less than we were quoted. I can’t wait for my friends to get married so they can use her!

It was such a pleasure to work with Catherine and her team at Somerset Hills Florist. She immediately understood my vision and created such beautiful floral arrangement for our wedding. She is creative and organized! Very Highly recommended!

Catherine was very easy to work with even when we kept adding things we wanted or changing the colors. She did a beautiful job on the flowers - really captured the fall look with ivories, reds, and dark oranges/golds. The bouquets were beautiful - everyone ohh'd and ahh'ed over them when they arrived, and I could not have been happier with the centerpieces. I was worried that the dark red, ivory, and gold color theme we had chosen would look too valentine's day-ish, but the flowers really make it look like a spectacular fall wedding! She also did the flowers for our cake, and it looked amazing!

I'm couldn't be happier with our experience with Somerset Hills Florist! Catherine is so easy to work with and knew exactly what I was looking for. Our centerpieces we're so much better than we had expected, they were just gorgeous! This was by far the best experience we had with all of our vendors. Very flexible, willing to change anything we asked for, and the staff is just pleasant to work with! I highly recommend them!

Catherine was wonderful to work with. We had a peacock theme and blue bridesmaids dresses - and I don't know much about flowers and just had some general ideas of colors. Catherine's ideas for the flowers were really inspiring and helped me get excited about the wedding. I LOVED all of our flowers - the bouquets, the ceremony arrangements, boutonnieres and especially the centerpieces and cake decorations. Everything was perfect. I generally find flowers at weddings to be boring, but the colors and the arrangements Catherine came up with really popped and brightened the day. I am so happy that we went with Somerset.

I could tell from the beginning that Catherine at Somerset Hills Florist was the perfect vendor match for me. She is a fast-thinker and is highly-organized. I came to the florist with no ideas of what types of flowers I wanted, and Catherine gave me floral ideas and then more ideas when I just 'wanted to see what else was out there'. She is very knowledgeable on flowers and what flowers are good for what types of arrangements (some last longer without water than others). We had a number of last-minute requests, such as decorating the outside of the church, decorating the unity candle, basket for the rose petals to throw at the bride and groom...and Catherine came through with all of them. Wonderful to work with and highly recommended.

Catherine is absolutely wonderful! I couldn't have asked for a better presentation of my floral arrangements, my bouquets, or any of the minor details that were provided for the reception and ceremony. The flower quality was bar-none, I have never seen more beautiful flowers in my entire life! Everyone commented on how awesome the flowers were. I had people fighting over taking home the arrangements! :) Catherine and her staff are top-notch!
