Jason Jani and the Sound Connection team went above and beyond to make our dreams come true and give us a party we needed to kick-off our marriage. From Day 1 Jason was awesome. Jason was very flexible with meeting with us being we lived an hour away and stayed late hours for us. We signed him and SCE immediately because we didn't want to loose the opportunity to have them at our wedding. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Jason was always quick to respond to emails and any questions we had. We had a couple enhancements that SCE provided such as uplighting and intelligent lighting. The photo montage with the monstrous HDTV screens they provided was perfect. Jason did exactly what he promised and delivered from the first second to the final. He entertained and worked extremely professional in every manner. We truly didn't think so many people would be on the dance floor, but Jason had the whole room on the floor and having a wonderful time. Jason would also go out of his way to make sure we were okay throughout the night and if there were any issues, he'd be first to tell the maitre d. He even pulled us to side and gave us great advice and some very kind words that I won't spill. I'll let him tell you when he's your DJ. We would HIGHLY recommend Jason Jani and SCE to anybody. Jason isn't just our DJ, he became a great friend throughout the wedding process, and we will always continue working with him for any event we have. THANKS AGAIN JASON!!!!

Since we are an older couple we were worried about the music. From the beginning Jeff Balkin assured us there would be no problem. Well he listened to everything we said and were extremely pleased. I could not have asked for a better DJ. There were a few changes we had to make and Jeff was professional and did them with no problem.Our music was so good that people from other parties asked to come to our wedding to dance. As they peeked in they saw the dance floor full and they wanted to be a part of our good time.thanks again Sound connection Entertainment for making our wedding fabulous.

After being referred to SCE by several coworkers, we met with the team and instantly knew we had made the right choice... we had met with several DJs who also had good reviews, but the professionalism of the SCE guys was unmatched. The online tool came to be extremely useful when a song or idea would pop into my or my husband's head. Lisa was always onsite at the office to answer any questions and help with scheduling. Our DJ took the time to learn more about our families, wedding parties (including perfect pronunciation of a few very difficult names!), and the vision we had for our day. On the wedding day, the guys looked sharp, kept us at ease, and guided us through every step of the way! We left our DJ in charge of most of the selection aside from the decided upon songs and "must-play" list... we have gotten endless compliments on how they were able to keep the party going through the night with a lively and packed dance floor. So happy I took the recommendations- SCE definitely made our party exactly what we wanted and their dedication, professionalism, and true love for what they do is unmatched. Also... we did the room uplighting, definitely worth the money and looked incredible in our pics!!

We worked with DJ Paul Knox for our Nov. 5th wedding. In one word, he was AMAZING! I have never seen so many people on the dance floor having fun, it was awesome. He played all of our requests and was very professional. He also took pictures during the wedding and make them into a photo slide show which he shared with us on facebook.We also had them put purple up-lighting in the ballroom and it changed the whole look of the room, I'm so happy we did it.The music and entertainment really set the tone for your whole wedding and Paul made everything perfect. Thanks again! I would recommend him and this company to anyone looking for a good MC and DJ for their wedding, these people REALLY know what they are doing!

This review is based solely on the performance of Jeff Scott Gould at SCE Event Group. When working with his colleagues, it was frustrating and quote a challenge, but Jeff really pulled of an amazing reception for us. While SCE Event Group was not as professional to start with, Jeff was incredibly professional!!!! He managed to integrate the songs we like and our style. Essentially, we did't have any worry because he is true to his craft. He kept the party going and there were always people on the dance floor. He was AMAZING and I have already started recommending him! Trust me, we did not have to worry one but because Jeff was great. The price was a little steep, but well worth the high standard we were looking for. If you choose him, you are in great hands!!!!

Brides, with all that goes into planning a wedding. Have no fear booking SCE for your special day. They go above and beyond to make it a wedding people will be talking about for a long time. Our DJ Jeff Gould was the "total package". He builds incredible energy at the event and maintains it right to the end. He's fast and funny without being offensive. He gets wedding guests that would not normally dance, up on the dance floor with his dynamic personality and sense of timing and what brides and guests want. We were very pleased and would recommend SCE to anyone planning a wedding. SCE is well worth the price for their services.

Sound Connection was awesome!! Everyone still keeps talking about how great the DJ was! Jeff Balkin was our DJ and he was GREAT!! We had lighting, 4 plasma TV's, and the monogram on the dance floor which was awesome! They also provided music for me for the church and cocktail hour! I don't think i sat down the whole time at my wedding! I also got the photo booth which everyone LOVED and i would highly recommend getting one if your getting married!!! Another great thing they did was the love story photo montage! I don't think our wedding would have been the same without sound connection!! Thanks again Jeff and Sound Connection!!!!

We had Jeff Scott Gould DJ our wedding on 10/29/11 (day of the freak October snowstorm!) and we could have not been more satisfied. From the minute we saw Sound Connection at a bridal showcase, we knew we had to hire them for our wedding. They had such a positive and infectious energy that I knew would have our wedding be the talk of the year. And on top of that, they were utterly professional.My husband and I had custom audio production done for our mother and father dances and it was so worth it. What is such a special moment was made even more timeless with our voices and messages to our parents being played during the dance. It brought them to tears!Sound Connection also provided us with uplighting and a gobo of our initials which they were able to use the design we had on our invitations. It really made the room pop and provide that extra special touch.We also booked our photobooth through Sound Connection as our wedding favors to our guests and our guestbook. Again, this absolutely made our wedding. Guests did not want to get out of the photobooth as it was so fun! Sound Connection brought props with them as well and everytime we view our guestbook we just laugh at the memories everyone made.Finally, due to the weather of the day, so many things could have went wrong. I never once worried about Sound Connection making it. Jeff was right on time and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. Once everyone was in the reception no one even remembered it was snowing outside.I highly recommend Sound Connection to anyone who is booking a wedding. We had the absolute pleasure of having Mr. Tony Tee DJ our wedding, at the Westwood in Garwood NJ on October 28, 2011. It was an amazing night,and there are not enough words to express how fabulous Tony and his team were from day one. I first met Sound Connection at a few bridal shows when we were looking around for a DJ and it can be quite overwhelming with some many options out there. Sound Connection did a little performance and I loved there engery and the vibe they had going on in the room. I saw them again a few weeks later and my bridesmaid actually knew them and said they were great so I said ok lets see what they got. We met with Tony and we knew that was it!! From there everyone was so helpful and truly wanted us to have a fantastic wedding, they responded so quickly and I never felt like a bother (thank you Lisa and Kira!) Tony set up for our ceromony cocktail hour and reception. Everything was perfect, the uplighting we had made every room stunning, every song we wanted was played and the photobooth was the biggest hit of the night. Tony and his crew made sure everyone was dancing and having a great time. We cannot thank you all that were involved enough for all your hard work and for caring so much to making an evening we will never forget!!! Catherine and I were married on 10/22/11 with sound and lights provided by Jason Jani & SCE Event Group. I don't know that there are sufficient words to describe our experience… First, Jason and his staff were extremely accessible when it came to meeting with us prior to the wedding. We had a very “particular” way we wanted our Wedding Party introduced, including 16 different songs to be played during the intros. Jason had no problem taking the extra time to listen to and really get involved with our crazy ideas, and to research not only the songs, but different lighting and effects to go with each couple introduced, and had each song queued to the exact second we need it to be. Our jaws dropped when we walked into the ballroom for our sneak peak. The lighting was amazing and really set the mood for the night. The music selection was PERFECT, mixing in all the songs we wanted along with others while not playing any of the “stupid shit” we didn’t want played. Jay made sure the dance floor was packed all night. When it was over there was a room full of sweaty and exhausted people. Many of our guests commented on just how awesome the DJ was and how they had a blast from dancing all night. We can’t stress enough that EVERYTHING that SCE was in control of came off PERFECTLY, better than we could have hoped. We can’t begin to thank Jay and SCE for making it a night we’ll never forget. They get our HIGHEST recommendations for any event. Professional, Caring, Detailed, Classy, Affordable, are just some of the words that can be used to describe SCE and there are many more. CJ and his team honestly made my wedding such a total blast. I don't think I got off the dance floor once. When we first met, I told him I wanted my wedding reception to be a dance party and he delivered. He truly knew what to pick based off of our song list (I had complete faith from the beginning. He really is an awesome guy). I couldn't be happier with the services provided and how personable CJ was. He really made an effort to know my husband and I. I wish I could get married again so that I could use SCE again!

My husband and I got married on Sunday, October 16, 2011. Jason and Jeff B. from the SCE crew did an amazing job keeping our guests on the dance floor!! From the moment we first met with Jason, I knew that I would have nothing to worry about when it came to entertainment at our wedding. He was very reassuring and confident in his abilities, and I trusted him completely. On our actual wedding day, they were right on point with all of their music selections, from general dancing sessions, to the Chinese tea ceremony, to the Filipino money dance! We got the lighting package, which made our wedding look like a dance club, and also got the dry ice fog, which made our first dance look like it came right out of a fairytale. Our guests all said that they had a blast, and couldn't stop talking about it for days!! We're still getting comments and praises about our day :). Sound Connection Entertainment, and specifically our DJ, Jeff Scott Gould, did a fantastic job on our wedding day. He respected our requests, played great music, and kept the party going all night. Everything went incredibly smoothly. Can't recommend Jeff or SCE enough!

I just have to say that Paul Knox was awesome!!! The party was a great success and he had everyone dancing all night! He was the DJ at my oldest daughter's wedding in 2007 and my middle daughter's wedding this October. Both were a hugh success and all thanks to Paul. Thanks for everything Paul it was a blast!!!!

Sound Connection was everything we wanted for our wedding and more.. Jeff Balkin was our DJ and provided exactly what we and all our guest needed to have a good time. Jeff provided uplighting, intelligent lighting, and 4 plasma TVs. The music mixup was absolutely perfect our entire dance floor was packed the whole time. Everyone keeps talking about how good our DJ was and how nice the mix he played was. My friends age range 20-35 were up and dancing the entire night, but right along side parents and grandparents of all ages were right there next to us. The TVs were a big hit everyone loved the display and the slideshow. People couldn't believe we had live pictures rolling across the screens throughout the night, all thanks to SCE great extra services they provide. We also had the photobooth which was a big hit, and the best way to have a guest book to look back on. We are the first of many of our friends planning to get married, and a lot are already planning to use Sound Connection. I highly recommend... worth every penny.

Jason Jani at Sound Connection Entertainment was absolutely wonderful. From the first time we met him, he made us feel comfortable, and was full of great ideas. By the time we got to the wedding, it felt like one of our friends was our DJ. He did such an amazing job with the music. We were amazed at how he remembered every single thing we talked about. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy, and we couldn't imagine the night without him. Our guests LOVED him, and the dance floor was always full with people of all ages. If you are getting married, go with Sound Connection. They will take your wedding to the next level!

Sound Connection is by far the best entertainment service in NJ! They are not only professional and keep the crowd going the whole time but they are so much fun!! From our first meeting through our wedding day Jason made us feel like our day was just as important to him as it was to us. You really don't need to continue to look for a dj. Sound Connection has it all. We worked with Jason Jani and we knew we were in good hands from the first phone call. Music was THE MOST important part of our wedding planning since we are HUGE music lovers that don't prefer top 40's. Jason listened to our many requests and helped us complete our vision for the night. We found ourselves saying "Jason was awesome" a lot on our honeymoon! A slew of people told us afterwords how 'amazing the dj was'. Even the staff where we got married were saying they wished they could attend our wedding ha! The whole team was great and easy to work with. They're the kind of people you want to hang out with. They have many different types of packages to suit your needs and will make your party planning seemless and easy. I HiGHLY suggest you add the photobooth with props to your package.
