The Fruited Plain Caterers

My husband and I met with a lot of caterers in planning our wedding. We were looking for a very specific feel for our wedding...and the food. Drew got our vision immediately. He came to our house to do a tasting and provided us options SPECIFIC to our requests (he was the only one to really "get" us). We planned a beautiful menu.Drew's commitment to our wedding did not end with the food. He helped us organize the rentals, vendors (alcohol, flowers, etc) and the venue.One day (23 hours) before the wedding disaster struck. Our venue (an outside venue) became unusable because it was flooded out. Drew saved the day. He offered us an alternative venue (nice, understated and tasteful). He then helped us reorient our whole event - working with the rental company and other vendors. Without Drew and The Fruited Plain we would have had no place for our special day. I highly recommend Drew. From the first meeting we could tell that Drew cared about our event...I had no idea how much. Drew went above and beyond in every way possible.Beyond all this...the staff was kind, professional, well-organized and efficient. The food at the event was delicious.

Our wedding and reception was held at our home on 7/3/11. We planned on being in our newly landscaped backyard - sadly it rained the entire day, so we had to move to Plan B: Tents in our driveway. Drew and his staff were TERRIFIC! They helped us in every way imaginable. Our guests had a great time. Everyone LOVED the food. The service and attention paid was A+++. If you like lamb - you must have the lamb chops (I though mine were the best until I tried Drew's). The servers took EXCELLENT care of myself and my husband - they made sure our glasses were never empty and that we ate as well. We will use you again for other events and have no reservations in recommending The Fruited Plain Caterers. Thanks!

On a scale of 1-5, I would rate Drew and The Fruited Plain a 10 if I could!I cannot say enough wonderful things about their food, service, presentation and how great they were to work with. Drew was so accommodating & responsive and knew what I was envisioning without me even telling him. With all of the things I had to worry about in planning our wedding, it was so refreshing to know that I didn't have to worry about the food or service.Our guests raved about the food (you could cut the beef with a spoon) and all of the staff was great...especially the bar tender Christian who noticed that nobody was filming an impromptu performance by my siblings and jumped in to film it on his cell phone.The Fruited Plain made our day!!Forgot to mention...I have Celiac Disease and have to eat strictly GLUTEN FREE...TFP knew all ingrediants that contain gluten and I was able to eat everything they served on my wedding day!!

We had our wedding at a private residence, which is not always easy! Drew and everyone at the Fruited Plain were amazing! The food was the talk of our wedding and all of the staff were great! We were so happy with everything Drew and everyone at the Fruited Plain did for us! Our only regret is that we did not get to eat more of the delicious food! I would highly recommend the Fruited Plain for ALL (and I mean all because the food was delicious) of your catered events!!!

Drew and his staf were terrific to work with throughout the entire process. Drew worked with us to keep costs reasonable. The baker he uses for his cakes made our wedding cake to our specifications and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious> All of the food servered was fresh, hot and delicious. One of our guests is a Chef and gave everything rave reviews. the serving staf was professional, prompt, courteous and fun to work with. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again in the future.

What delicious food from the fruited plain!! Everything, from appetizers to the wedding cake was just perfect. We catered our wedding at home and couldn't believe how well Drew and his team operated in our old, hot, cramped kitchen. When they packed up for the night, you would not have even known they were there (except for neatly packed left overs in the fridge - yum!) Very professional crew, extensive menu offerings, flexible and easy to work with. Looking forward to our next affair with fruited plain.

Everything was outstanding. Food amount was very good, taste was excellent, and flow of evening was perfect.
