Val Solo Photography & Video

Val and his partner were FANTASTIC! VERY professional and didn't miss a shot! They made sure they got every angle and every person at our wedding. Our pictures are GORGEOUS and he doesn't charge and arm and a leg for an AMAZING JOB!!! He is very generous and not dedicated to his work, he will work with you and customize any package you like. I would recommend Val Solo to EVERYONE!!! Thank you SOOOOOO Much Val, you held true to EVERYTHING you said you would do!!!

Pictures took for ever and even with a list of wanted pictures some were forgotten, you can't get that day back.

I know this is long, so I will tell you if I endorse them or not: Val Solo & his company has my HIGHEST recommendations. Read on if you need further convincing…I went to Val Solo, unsure of what I wanted. To save money, my husband and I were about to hire some “new” photographers (who were starting out in the business of photography), but we stopped into Val’s just to compare prices. Once I stopped in there, without an appointment or anything, I was hooked. His kindness and professionalism took my and my husband’s breath away. He told us a little about what he could offer, and told us to take our time reviewing his offers, so we could select what we wanted. He did not make us choose from a preset package, but he created a price based on the things we wanted. We needed photography and videography, and he showed us samples of his brilliant work. I knew right away he was the one who had everything we needed. He was mindful of our budget, and gave us a terrific package that we couldn’t refuse. It was even cheaper than the estimated price those new photographers were giving us, and we were now getting much more for our dollar! On the day we went to get our FREE engagement pictures taken, he practiced some poses he was going to use for our wedding day. This way we were more natural and we felt comfortable with his way of working. We also got together to discuss which engagement picture he was going to use for our FREE signed picture frame (one with a white boarder, so our family and friends could sign it the day of our wedding). Needless to say, by the time our wedding came around, we were so comfortable with him (AND his lovely wife, Nina, who was fortunately our videographer). Getting both photography and videography at the same place was so important in the end, because we were comfortable with the family owned business and they made both into one affordable price. At the wedding, both Nina and Val were on the same page (since they are a happily married couple) and neither got in the other’s way. They made both sides of the family feel great about the way they looked and being in front of the camera. The shots they took were so creative, and everyone still says how artistic my album came out. Knowing how nervous we were going to be the day of the wedding, both Val and his wife were extremely pleasant and comforting. They made us laugh and gave pointers on how things should run. Everything went perfect. They followed my limo to the park, took pictures (which were STUNNING), and went ahead to our venue. They set up before me and my guests arrived. Both of them took pictures of me and my entire wedding party coming out of the limo…and that was just the beginning. Because of Val, I now have two beautiful keepsakes: my wedding album and my wedding video. I can relive those cherished moments with my husband, and hopefully with our grandchildren one day. Both my husband’s parents, and mine, have a beautiful family picture hanging in their houses, because Val suggested it as a token of our gratitude. I can truly go on and on about Val, but hopefully you get the idea…go with him if you want a perfect photographer, and I also highly suggest his wife for your videographer! Great Luck! =)

My husbands best friend had selected val and used him for his wedding, we had both booked the same photographer (for different dates ) and not even realized it until the day of the first wedding! we chose Val for his BEAUTIFUL pictures and his unique way of capturing the perfect moment. The only problem we have is that now we have so many BEAUTIFUL photos that we can't decide which ones to choose!!

Val Solo Photography is awesome. The pictures and the dvd came out absoulutely great. And what's best is that your get all the rights to your pictures so you can print whatever pictures out you want.Defin would recommend them :)

We booked Val Solo for our wedding last october and we could not have been happier!!!! His work is flawless and thanks to him we have the best wedding album we could have ever imagined! He has done a couple of our family and friends weddings as well and his work is amazing! He is extremely professional and really does an excellent job in getting great shots of everyone. We would strongly reccomend him for anyones big event. Words really can not describe his work and if i could post my album I'm confident that all questions would be answered!

Loved Val! I got great photos to remember my wedding and he made it very easy to customize the package that was right for me plus I got all the originals (1900 photos!). A few of my co-workers used Val Solo for their wedding as well and they all had the same response!

Not only did our photographs turn out beautiful, our albums were perfect, and our package was custom fit to our needs (divorced parents = and odd number of parent albums!)When we received the wedding video, we were equally pleased with its quality. Val and his family were a pleasure to work with, and it was great working directly with the photographer instead of being given the run around from a big company!

We booked Val Solo after I went to over 15 photographers, who would not let me own my prints. His packages are very very reasonable. Our engagement pictures were taken right away because we wanted to use them at our engagmenent party. We went to Weekhawken and were given a cd of over 200 pictures and we got 3 8x10. After that I knew we chose the right photographer for our wedding. We filled out a day of form 2 months before the wedding and did not follw up. The day of the wedding Val came extra early the groom's mom's house & then came early to the bride's house. He followed almost every single item I had listed on my day of form. He was by far our favorite vendor of the day!!! After the wedding, we received our cd of 2,500 wedding pictures, we were given a website of 300 pictures, I chose a 70 picture album and within a week I was sent my album preview. I did make changes that cost 10 each but that was my fault for choosing incorrect pictures! I received my album less than 3 months after our wedding! I did not like the quality of the thank yous so I chose to make my own which was fine since I owed all of my images. I would absolutley recommend this photographer if you are looking for alot of pictures at a reasonable price!!

Val did a great job with out pictures and Video. He is very passionate about his work so the result is outstanding. I do recommend Val solo photography

If you are looking for stunning photographs, choose Val Solo Photography! They were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire wedding process. Some of my guests commented that they didn't even notice the photographers on the wedding day, meanwhile they took over 2,000 shots! They are extremely talented and created an absolutely gorgeous album for us!

Just loved everything about our entire photography experience from start to finish. The price was great and the photographs came out so beautiful. I especially liked that I received a copy of all the photos that were taken. I would recommend using Val Solo.

We worked with Julia Solo as the photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding day and she did an absolutely amazing job! She was able to single-handedly capture every single moment that was important to us. She was professional from beginning to end. What was particularly noteworthy about Julia is that she was there at all the right times and yet not invasive. People continue to tell us that they didn't even know she was there and yet she captured every moment. That is truly a compliment to be able to capture every moment without invading everyone's space! As far as we are concerned her talent is unsurpassed. We continue to receive compliments on the unique magazine-style wedding album that Julia put together for us. In our opinion, it is one of the highest quality albums you can obtain. In terms of turnaround time, our wedding was September 6th and we received our proofs by September 30th. We still can't believe how quickly we received our proofs. In fact, the hardest part for us was making our selections as there were so many pictures we loved! We would highly recommend Julia to anyone we know who is getting married.

Val captured every moment of our wedding day and with over 2000 pictures to choose from for our album we couldn't have been more pleased with his work.

Val Solo was great!! We got wonderful pictures and just watched our video. We were so pleased with the way it came out! We can't wait to watch it again. They were flexible with us as well. Val Solo was our photographer and his wife was the videographer. We haven't seen our photo's or video yet, but I know they will turn out great. They positioned us in fun and creative poses. They worked very hard and were there for 9 hours taking all kinds of pictures. We also LOVED our engagement album. Val has a very artistic eye and can capture each moment and make it look so special. He is incredible to work with and had everyone smiling with his jokes.

Val Solo was wonderful! My husband and I couldn't be happier. I searched for months and months for a good photographer with a price tag we could afford and I selected Val Solo based on those factors. The price I paid for photography and Video was the same price I received for just Photography elsewhere. Val is about 100 miles from me and I still selected him because of his excellent service. His work is amazing. There was about 2000 pictures taken and we received all of them on a disk. Our portrait is absolutely georgous and the wedding album and video are even better, if there is such a thing. Every time I show my wedding album, people are amazed at the quality. I would highly recommend Val Solo Photography and Video for any event, especially a Wedding!!
